Atypico Restaurant — Restaurant in Bella Vista

We waited for thirty minutes for someone to come take our order— no one came. The only reason we even got to order was because I left the table and asked the waitress if we could order food! Mind you, there were only two other occupied tables at this point, and they were split among two waitresses. We then waited another 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and it wasn’t even good! All the food was mediocre at best. I got the ribeye which seemed like a good deal because it’s only $19 and comes with veggies and potatoes au gratin. Well, the steak was so over cooked and tough I could barely cut into it or chew it, and the potatoes had ZERO seasoning. The only good thing on my plate was the “salad” which was just lettuce drenched in bottled dressing! The strange thing is, as more groups arrived, everyone else got waited on and served in a timely manner! I don’t know why our service was so bad but the food certainly didn’t make up for it!! I wanted to like this place. The atmosphere and decor is really nice. The food presentation was also good. Service was friendly but slow and the waitress didn't come back to check on how things were. Asked for my burger well done and the middle of it was pink. The waitress just shrugged and said okay when I told her. At other restaurants they would've apologized or offered to refund it or remake it, not this one which is why I'm giving it such a low review. I love to romanticize my life, so on a lovely Sunday morning, I invited my Mom for breakfast to Atypico, and we were received with a warm welcoming. We decided to have the brunch breakfast platter, and WOW, it was amazing! 🎀This platter includes a hot beverage, and to top it off, it ends with courtesy mimosas, where we cheered for good life🥂 It was our first visit and definitely will not be the last.
