Unfortunately, I can't tell you all about their food. The fish I ordered the first time, I ordered again - why not get something amazing again?
It is a shrimp dish, the shrimp are bathed in an incredible garlic sauce, and since the shrimp are resting on top of a fried fish, it's bathed in that same sauce. Truly delicious.
The place is small and open air, although covered, service is fast and pleasant. There isn't much English spoken, so you either point and pantomime, or resort to Google translate. I'm not too proud to whip out my cell phone and communicate - while you are in a communication mode, go ahead and order a Balboa, a pretty decent local beer that plays nice...

The restaurant has a small outdoor dining area facing the road and an indoor dining room behind that’s easy to miss. The atmosphere is casual but nice. The check is confusing, as the total at the bottom includes a 10% gratuity and then below it is suggested tip percentages. When we paid, we asked the sever about it to confirm the amount included the gratuity and then just paid that amount, which caused a noticeable change in her demeanor. What I ordered: Seafood soup $10: it was 90% butter water. Barely any seafood chunks. I literally left 85% of it unfinished because it was just butter water Lobsters with garlic $35: basically 2 lobsters split open. A bit overcooked.
The quality of the sides were so-so. Patacones were subpar (compared to lafonda or trapiche).
Final sin: they added a tip to the bill without my permission.
The waitress showed me the total to be $45, charged and printed receipt. When I double checked they snuck in a tip. Always double check.
