TOPSIDE DINER — Restaurant in Manila

This place was recommended to me by a friend when I travelled from DVO to MNL to visit her and we ate lunch here, honestly I love the food because it gives you various flavors especially the wings coated with grated cheese (I loved that). I was also fascinated by their drinks because the presentation alone surprised me, for food I would give it a 4, for the area however I would say a solid 3.5, because it was fairly small when you enter, but their main dining area was on the second floor, but it was so open that I could still smell the outside as you climb towards the second floor but the main dining area was very pretty with different designs of tables and rooms. I ordered boneless chicken w/ drink for 199 pesos with garlic parmesan sauce and when it was served I was so disappointed with how it looked. The portion size is nowhere near its price of 200, the drink was also only 12 ounces. The rice was less than a cup, the chicken pieces were small and very few prolly less that 10 pieces. They drizzled the garlic butter all over the rice but the parmesan was nowhere to be found, but there were shredded eden cheese... so i think that it was substituted with that, the chicken was also very salty.

Overall i wouldn't recommend this place at all, you won't get your money's worth and wikk...

They had no service water and got our orders wrong. Also, more than half of their menu was unavailable when we visited (we really wanted to try their Mexican dishes but they only had wings). The wings are also pricy considering you can eat unli wings for the same price, also when they "4 pc", they mean 2 whole wings just cut into flats/drums. The tropical drink was watery too.
