Baluarte De Santa Barbara is one of the historical sites inside Fort Santiago. It is one of the many fortifications used by the Spaniards during their colonial occupation of the Philippines to patrol and protect Intramuros from invaders or enemies who would be coming by water. It is filled with many historical displays such as The Dungeons and other bulwarks. It is free admission since you will be paying the entrance fee for Fort Santiago, which is about 75 pesos, 50 I guess for children. It is the farthest part of the Fort and you can enjoy walking there. Aside from the historical value of the place, it is well maintained and there are a lot of trees which makes it very refreshing.
