We arrived at around 8:50 AM and asked the guard and a lady at the Greenwich entrance what time they would open. They gestured that it would be at 9:00 AM. We then found a parking spot, paid for the parking ticket, and walked back to the entrance by 9:05 AM. We waited patiently, and even asked if they were opening soon since it was already past 9:00 AM, but they seemed indifferent. To our surprise, at 9:09 AM, they were all sitting down to have breakfast, clearly just starting their meal.
It was frustrating because we had specifically asked about the opening time and were told 9:00 AM. We had already paid for parking and were left waiting without any explanation. I have no issue with them taking a break or eating breakfast, but it would have been more considerate to either open on time or adjust the store sign to reflect the actual opening time. Seeing them casually eating while we stood there waiting was disappointing and unprofessional.
To avoid confusion and inconvenience for customers, I suggest they update the store sign to reflect the correct opening time, perhaps 10:00 AM, instead of misleading people with a 9:00 AM...
Read moreGot there for dinner after strolling Intramuros. The overall experience was sort of disappointing and not really what I expected from Greenwich.
The place is somewhat packed and we expected the orders to take some time, which was also explained to us by the cashier. However, the food delivered to us wasn't really at par with what I recall from previous Greenwich experiences. It wasn't hot, not even warm. The serving portions were also relatively small. Furthermore, the only one I can consider tasty from the ordered food was the winner wings. The rest were just okay.
The atmosphere and service was just sad. You can see that the waiter/cleaner was in a bad mood and somehow, it was also the mood of the place. You can see from time to time, someone is complaining about their order - whether it was taking too long, incomplete, or just wrong. It didn't really provide a good place for someone to eat comfortably. Hopefully it was just in that time and it will...
