Chic-Boy — Restaurant in Manila

I have always loved Chic-Boy, and was really disappointed when they closed all their restaurants. At least that's what I thought. So when we accidentally found a Chic-Boy in the heart of Intramuros, I had to drag my family there. The place was packed, so it took a while before we could order. The chicken was as delicious as I remembered. I forgot that my favorite was their lechon liempo, so I was not able to order it. Nevertheless, the food was filling. The restaurant is similar to mang inasal. There's an option for unlimited rice and bulalo soup is unlimited.

However, the portion is very small for the price we paid. We ordered the CB7-C liempo and chicken with rice for 189. The chicken was small and the liempo was like a slice of bacon. We also ordered the sinigang na salmon for 149. There was hardly any salmon. The salmon was the size of a peanut and the sinigang's color was orange and full of ginger.

Food tasted okay. I just wished they put pictures of the actual serving...

We found out about the place from a nearby resident, very similar to Mang Inasal. We were suprised to see the chicken being 165 pesos, which was really expensive, unli rice was additional 25 pesos, while in Mang Inasal unli rice with inasal and drinks were 135 pesos.
