So this is apparently a must-visit food stand in Kraków. As you walk around this ancient round brick building, you will notice that all the vendors are serving the same food (essentially a glorified flatbread). You will also notice that there are few people lined up at any of the vendors except this one. That’s your cue that you are at the correct location. The line is very disorganized, so you need to be somewhat persistent in making your way towards the window to order.
The flat bread is deliciously messy, but I did not find it to be anything particularly amazing. There are no places to sit, so you will need to enjoy it while standing or walking around taking in the scenery.

To najwyraźniej obowiązkowe stoisko z jedzeniem w Krakowie.
Read moreI was recommended this area in the Jewish Quarter for some snacks/street food as oppose to a full meal.
After making my way here, I knew I was looking for "zapiekanki"; however, all the vendors sold it! It is basically a massive slice of toast with cheese, and there are additional toppings to choose from.
So a local recommended Endzior. Here, they all have a base of cheese and mushroom, and additional toppings. I got the "Diabelsko Ostra" and it did not disappoint. Spicy, but too much. I was recommended to put ketchup on it. If you are not fond, you can pass, and I guess I could have as well. My only critique is I thought the cheese would be a piping hot. It was a warm steam at best.
Apparently, it is a favorite drunk food after a night out. They take credit card as well! Apple Pay for you iOS enthusiasts as well via the NFC reader. I would definitely advise to come back, but if you have more time, I would try other venues too to see which...
Read moreThe food? Sensational. I’ve been home for days and I’m still dreaming about those pizzas like they’re a long-lost lover. Whatever sorcery they’re doing in that kitchen, it’s working. Crispy, cheesy, absolute perfection.
Service-wise… let’s just say I got the impression that asking for my pizza to be cut was a personal insult. No tissue offered either – perhaps part of a rustic charm I didn’t sign up for. A smile? Now that would’ve been the cherry on top (or maybe the basil leaf).
Be warned: long queues – because clearly, everyone knows how good the food is. Just don’t expect warm hugs and jazz hands with your meal.
Still, would I go back? In a heartbeat. Just maybe with my own...
