Oh boy, what a bad experience we had. We came, we got a table, we picked our food. No problem so far. The waitress was very slow and looked very annoyed. She was unable to recommend something, but at last she picked our order. Than we waited. We waited very long, we didn't even get our drinks. After some time we got half of the foods (and still no drinks). At that time we didn't even have our forks and knives. After that we finally received third food and forks and knives. Than the drinks and after some time we got fourth food. At that time, due to waiting for forks and knives, our food was already lukewarm. Taste wise, the food was really great, but the experience was really bad. At the end, after we paid, I found out that we got charged 26 PLN for something (what the hell is Sv?) if that is a service fee, than I paid for one of worst services I had in my life. The waitress looked annoyed most of the time and she didn't care at all about our table. And btw, if all that was not enough, the toilets were not at all clean and the bin for used hand towels was extremely overfilled. Not recommended at all, I don't understand all that...
Read moreI was truly disappointed with my recent dining experience at Restauracja Polska. From the moment we sat down, the dirty table with food crumbs was a clear sign of poor hygiene. The food itself was a mixed bag. While the appetizers, pierogi and Polish sausage, were tasty, the main courses were a major letdown. The żurek, served in a bread bowl, had a tough and stale bread. The kotlet schabowy was excessively greasy, and the accompanying pickled vegetables were overwhelmingly salty. When we brought these issues to the waiter's attention, he simply stated that the excessive grease was due to the cooking method and offered no solution. Given the quality of the food and the subpar service, the prices were exorbitant. Over 50 euros for a meal consisting of a beer, a glass of overpriced wine, a soup, a sausage, and a few pierogi is unacceptable. The lack of attention from the staff and the overall poor quality of the dining experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend Restauracja Polska to anyone seeking authentic...
Read moreAn unforgettable experience! Located in the heart of Kraków's Jewish quarter, Kazimierz, this restaurant is a true hidden gem. The atmosphere is warm and full of character, with a perfect balance between tradition and modern style. The staff is extremely kind, always smiling, and attentive to every detail—ready to recommend the best dishes of the day with great professionalism.
The menu is carefully crafted, offering dishes that blend authentic Polish flavors with international influences. Everything we tasted was delicious, made with the freshest ingredients and beautifully presented. Special attention is also given to vegetarians and vegans, with some truly tasty options.
Prices are more than fair for the quality provided. I also highly recommend the desserts—they’re a real treat for the taste buds.
A place I’ll definitely return to, and one that leaves the memory of a perfect dinner. Compliments to the...
