Le Scandale — Restaurant in Krakow

The food was excellent, and the ambiance of the place was pleasant. However, the service was a letdown, especially considering it was included in the bill. We found ourselves waiting by a dirty table, witnessing a waitress serving water to a dog and delivering drinks to other guests without acknowledging our presence. When she finally cleared the dirty dishes from the previous guests, she neglected to clean the table properly, merely placing menus on top of the remaining dirt and grease. Politely requesting her to clean the table resulted in an unfriendly response, and she begrudgingly cleaned it, allowing us to finally sit.

Later on, there was a mix-up with our drinks, requiring a change. Fortunately, a different, friendlier lady handled the situation. Despite the outstanding food, the overall poor service was a significant drawback, leaving me puzzled as to how they could justify charging for a service that was subpar. Absolutely brilliant experience! Very welcoming staff, stylish interior, mega clean! Really creative cocktails from Andrzej - literally had to come back there the another day to try more that good cocktails are ! Very impressed ! Menu is very interesting - we tried the BiG Boy Burger which I think is the biggest burger in Krakow and it is soo good plus the tapas is outstanding ! Will be be back for more :) The highlight of the both visits to La Scandale was Angelika - the most welcoming the most smiley and bubbly waitress in whole Krakow :) Very attentive and efficient despite restaurant was busy she always found the time to check on us, give us amazing recommendations and have a little chat ! Superb service overall and superstar waitress! If you go there make sure ask for Pepper Vodka Apple Shots the best...

Christmas dinner where the normal dishes were ok, but most of us were waiting for the dessert, specially a lot of us were waiting for Honey cake, where the first person received the cake without honey and the cake actually was not the typical 'miodownik' at all, really dissapointing. On the other hand we were told that Amex is accepted and when payment time came Amex card was not working, with the need of paying for a company dinner from our own pocket. If technical issues were happening we should be aware in advance so that we are ready to pay a big bill with another type of card.
