The location is perfect. You're a few meters away from a beach. You have restaurants and a winery literally less than 30 seconds away.

Some of the highlights are: -The staff is kind and attentive. -The room was quite clean and tidy. -You have access to a kitchen. The shower's water pressure was stable and so was the temperature.

However, being close to lively places has a price.

You will hear the street noise even after closing the windows. The building was renovated but sound insolation was not achieved.

The exterior window shutters are damaged and won't close properly, so you will get light coming in at night and in the morning. Bring your eye mask!

The room doors and inner walls are not made with noise insulation in mind, so you can also hear everything happening inside the building: people opening and closing the main door (it buzzes every time someone opens it and closes with a loud bang), people walking up or down the stairs, people in the kitchen, opening or closing their room door, or whatever they speak inside the rooms at your floor.

There's only one power outlet available in the room and it is not close to the bed. You will have to unplug the lamps or use the one in the bathroom.

We chose to stay here whilst visiting the area around Cascais. Found it hard to locate the place as it has no signage visible. The roads close by are very hard to drive through, very tight and steep in places. Had to park near the police station and drag bags across the town. Long stay parking is available a 10 minute walk away at 11.00 euros per day, have to go back the next day to redo it for the next day. The rooms are very clean and have a good shower. There is a kitchen area to prepare drinks near reception, but this closes early and cannot make drinks before bed or early in the morning.||The noise from the street is loud and goes on until around midnight.||The staff are very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't personally stay here again but if you need a one night stay and aren't worried about a bit of noise then I can see how it would suit as the price and central...

Just back from a 5 night break here, hubby n I beautiful place room very clean n tidy ( only down fall not much room between bed wardrobe, very hard to open it as not much room.)., other than that nothing to complain about, staff were very friendly. N the place is literally 2 min to beach, and centre with 5 mins walk. All little streets are literally on your doorstep. If we go back. We'll be asking for balcony with seating area, missed that., but a bril stay....
