Crows Nest — Local services in Eastern Cape

We spent one night in the "family suite" - Room 8. The whole establishment looked like council flats, with exposed plumbing everywhere and a tiny parking lot. All guests can park inside but have to park each other in due to lack of space, so one is woken very early to move cars and reshuffle space. Our carpet was full of stains and the bathroom was the worst I've ever experienced. The bath/shower combo was stained, had an old plastic curtain and a tiny shower head and hardly any pressure. Both the toilet and basin were cracked and stained and the mirror was bordered with crookedly cut black Insulation tape! The kitchen was tiny with the smallest microwave known to man (in the family suite) and ugly. Definitely not spacious and modern as advertised. The outer wall of our bedroom was not brick, but appeared to be constructed out of some prefab plasticized material that did not look safe or durable and was not clean. Our beds were so uncomfortable our backs hurt, but the website specifically mentions the special beds! All in all the only upside was that we had a rood over our heads and we weren't sleeping on the streets. Their advertising is seriously misleading and I would rather have known that the truth so I could have paid more to get a good night's sleep and a decent shower. We were given 20megs of free data but it was impossible to connect to their wifi. This establishment is not nice to stay at unless you have low expectations. My oven and stove stopped working in February and I have still not been given a new one at the time of writing 10 months down the line ,I have witnessed the manager have physical altercations with tenants and I even had to break one up myself ,things will get removed from your room without any communication eg a TV was taken out of my room in April and I was never told why ,if you have an emergency and you have to wake up the managers in the early hours eg theft of my property and you request to check the cameras your request will not be attended to and instead of checking the security cameras you will be told that you're disturbing them and they still want to sleep then you will be informed that the cameras do not record even though you were expressly informed that they work fully ,I was told the wifi works also but you will either never get the password or be told that it's not working ,I started of the year with a yearly contract only to be told 3 months down the line that it is now void and I can only do a month to month contract which is going to cost more and with different terms ,your experience might end up different but do take all this into...

We stayed in room 21 upstairs unit and we loved every minute of our stay. The place was clean and neat with an awesome view of the sea.
