Yeah I didn’t really understand how the place worked to be honest since it was ‘wholesale’. I went to one of the shops and looked at a jacket, got weird stares from the staff. When I went up to one of the staff to ask if I could try it on, she said “No trying” and then she got the attention from another employee who then proceed to take the jacket out of my hands— I thought she was going to show me something, but she instead put the jacket on (lol) and continued helping out another customer without saying anything to me, WHILE wearing the jacket. I asked her if the jacket has been purchased already, and she stared at me for a few seconds and said “yes buy “. I still have no idea what that meant but that whole interaction was enough to turn me off the whole place and I left.
Maybe I just didn’t know enough about this place going in, but I’m definitely not inclined to go back...

I thought it was a normal mall because I don’t speak or really read Korean. I was looking at some items toward the outside of one of the shops and a lady at the counter came up to me and said in English, “Shopping?” And I said, “Yeah, just looking around.” And with the most irritated, stern voice ever she replied, “NO SHOPPING. WHOLESALE.” with a mean look on her face and walked back to the counter. I couldn’t believe how absolutely rude she was so I just left the entire place after that. Location: Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Exit 10 Shops varieties 6/10 (Clothings majority, not much on handbags! They do accept cash but not every shops allow retail purchase of 1 single piece) Customer service 5/10 (Most shopkeepers are very busy packing their orders, so do not expect them to be attentive unless you're buying in bulk!) Environment 5/10 (there's public toilets in each floor & some small cafe on different levels)
P.s.: There's a very nice street food outside the main entrance, a Chinese uncle selling Eomuk (fishcakes), fried chicken & shrimps. He's able to converse in Chinese & Cantonese! Best Eomuk I've ever...
