Artgaudí — Local services in Barcelona

My wife bought TWO rings from this shop with the Barcelona flower motif. The clerk who checked us out gave her an additional ring he stated was a gift and thanked us. Wepaid with my credit card and were quite pleased. About an hour later as we were sipping our drinks at a locsl cafe nearby a short little troll of a man ( not the one who checked our merchandise) approached my wife in a very aggressive manner and accused her of stealing the item that the other clerk GAVE us as a gift. Could have been a miscommunication but i am pretty sure this is a scam! H e tried and tried to insost he had the theft on video. ,My wife returmed the item in question to him,but there was no way on the planet she would ever return to this store. I personally would advise ALL tourists to avoid this store as they appear to be trying to extort tourists under false pretenses.I certainly will never return. Horrible customer relations

I TAKE OFFENSE AT THE SELLERS RESPONSE. My wife is wearing a cartier watch on one wrist and three cartier love bracelets on the other. The mere accusation of her wanting to STEAL a 30 dollar ring is preposterous. Avoid this store at alk costs!!!!They are not honest! Interestingly we were approached by several patrons of the cafe as well who supported us stating the store representative was inappropriate and we were likely being scammed!!! Buyer beware!!!! I will be posting this to multiple followers on Facebook and instagram as well. Watch out for Artgaudi crooks!

Most importantly… if there is a misunderstanding regarding any item…. Do you want to be called a thief and shamed in public, or do you wish to discuss the incident in a civil manner? These guys just jump straight to THIEF!!!!! I assure all readers my wife is FAR from a thief. These guys are scammers and are trying to extort money from patrons with false accusations!
