Spritz — Restaurant in Barcelona

normally i do love this place. a lot. i always take my friends whenever they are visiting me. and i always tell them this is such an amazing place. but today, we had a horrible experience with Maria (i think her name is this, and never seen her before). the way she approached us was not appropriate at all… she gave wrong drinks to us and started to act in a super passive aggressive way when we said it. she got angry when we said we want to take the small tables outside and insisted to give us to go cups. we were okay with it. sat outside of the bar but not in front. i know there is this rule but honestly after thinking it doesn’t make any sense too. the spritz bar does not own the space in front and should not be telling people not to sit there, as it’s a public place. but whatever, this is not the point. when we were outside, Maria followed us and kinda shouted us not to sit there. this is not what you say and what you say. her tone was so off and killed our mood instantly.. this is such a nice place and i’m pretty shocked with how we were treated this time. i will not take my friends to this place ever again. got pretty disappointed… and Maria, i understand spanish too. please consider people might understand the language before telling...

The worst experience I have ever had in a bar by far. When I arrived at the bar there were people drinking by the door, so when I got my drink I went and did the same. The bartender then came up to me and very aggressively told me that was not allowed. I pointed out that many others were drinking by the door, and there was no sign anywhere saying it was not allowed. I went inside after a bit of back and forth and was planning on finishing my drink inside, but the guy followed me in and yanked the drink out of my hands and threw it out. I was astonished. The other lady who was working there saw it and came to talk to me, but it was me who had to ask for a refund. I will avoid this place at all costs in the future and I recommend everyone else to...

A man with glasses acted in a passive-aggressive and racist way. Due to a traffic accident I had in the past, I have a metal implant in my leg, so we sat in a spot in front of him because there was no other space available for us to sit with our cups and sandwiches. He came and warned us. We moved and waited near the door, but when the pain in my leg increased, we returned — and to avoid any trouble, we gave back the glass cups and asked for paper ones instead. We did this without complaining. Still, he came back again and aggressively told us not to sit there, claiming "this is my place," although there were 8–10 other people sitting in the same area. He treated us differently and unfairly, clearly because of the language we were speaking. He threatened to call the police — we told him to go ahead. He pretended to make a call, then hovered around us trying to intimidate us. We didn’t cause any disturbance. We were targeted only because we were speaking a foreign language. His actions were racist, disrespectful, and inappropriate. Be aware of this man — he made us feel unwelcome in a public space.

Un hombre con gafas actuó de manera pasivo-agresiva y racista. Debido a un accidente de tráfico que sufrí, tengo una placa de metal en la pierna, así que nos sentamos frente a él porque no había otro lugar disponible con nuestras tazas y sándwiches. Vino a advertirnos. Nos movimos y esperamos de pie cerca de la puerta, pero cuando el dolor en mi pierna aumentó, regresamos — y para evitar problemas, devolvimos los vasos de vidrio y pedimos vasos de papel en su lugar. Lo hicimos sin quejarnos. Aun así, volvió de forma agresiva a decirnos que no nos sentáramos allí, diciendo “este es mi lugar”, aunque había 8–10 personas más sentadas en la misma área. Nos trató de manera diferente e injusta, claramente por el idioma que hablábamos. Amenazó con llamar a la policía — le dijimos que lo hiciera. Fingió hacer una llamada y luego se quedó cerca de nosotros intentando intimidarnos. No causamos ninguna molestia. Fuimos atacados solo por hablar otro idioma.
