Highly recommended! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful interiors with interesting things to see. But the best thing is the quality of the nuts and other delicacies they sell. This is not just "another" nuts shop, their nuts are of high quality and also the finish they have thanks to the traditional roasting is really perfect and unique. Some of the products may seem pricey but the price truly corresponds with the quality and the unique taste. I recommend buying their famous kodoles - nuts in chocolate, they have several varieties. I tried the macadamia nuts in white and dark chocolate. They were amazing, especially the nuts were not too hard, easy to bite but crispy, lovely taste and the chocolate was also very good, not too sweet which I liked. Just perfect!

Casa Gispert was high on my list of must visits. We went early, right after opening on a Friday morning and it wasn't busy yet. The woman who worked there was extremely knowledgeable and told us the history behind the store, the wood fired nut roaster, and each product we looked at. We filled our basket with all sorts of goodies and luckily just made it under the wire weight wise for our baggage at the airport! ;) As I sit at home munching on the roasted salted marcona almonds and some dried fruit Im checking their website to see what they can ship! The PERFECT place for souvenirs for yourself or friends & family. A MUST stop!

What a true gem this place is! I went there and I was a bit hesitant as to what to get as they have so much to choose from. I ended up getting roasted pistachios, hazelnuts and almonds. The lady who helped me was so nice as to show me some other products they offer. There is so much variety, ranging from tea to sauces, chocolate covered nuts, everything you can imagine. I was lucky enough to be there when they were toasting almonds, I could tell why the taste is so good. They roast them in the old-fashioned way leaving a smokey flavor behind. SO TASTY, definitely recommend this place!

Ah, this is a very beautiful, traditional grocer shop. It exits "since always" and besides of home toasted nuts, almond and the like, you find oils, spicery, juices, chocolate, local products - it's a pleasure to buy here, because of the quality of the products, the beautiful place and nice attention of the staff. Prices are very reasonable and worthwhile. The owner speaks Japanese. And Catalan of course, because this is a really very traditional Catalan shop, but you will be attended with the same natural attention in Spanish or English, too. I always buy my freshly ground coffee there, dry fruit etc., and am very happy that such a classic shop still survives...
