I have looked in all corners of the EU for such places. When I’m in the mood for American snacks and my care packages haven’t arrived, I go to American shops for a quick fix.

The shop is pretty standard like most that I’ve seen in the countries I’ve visited/lived. This place is quite small though and can get a bit crowded, which is not good. Especially with a pandemic. The number of people allowed inside should be restricted by a lot more. I don’t want to brush against someone just to get by.

Also, the variety here may not be vast, but they usually have what I’m after. Hot Cheetos, white cheddar Cheez-It, Kraft mac & cheese, etc. If they don’t have something, I ask and they might be able to order it. The cereal selection is great! Yes, prices are on the higher end, but it is what it is. You aren’t doing daily or weekly grocery shopping here.

Come for a splurge on treats you know and love, but don’t assume it will be the same as a store in the USA. It’s unreasonable to expect that. Take into account the import fees and shipping costs. This little gem of a place is a bit of comfort for people like me that are missing home and I’m glad to...

Taste of America is an american food shop located in Balmes Street. This chain of shops was founded in 1995 in Madrid, but now they have eighteen shops in the whole country. We have chosen this place because we really like this kind of food. The local is very spacious therefore they have a lot of products and all of them are very well organized. The staff is really kind and they can also recommend you some of their gourmet products. It is very special because their products are unusual and they all come from the USA. It is quite expensive because of the importation of food. We think that if you have never gone to the USA you can taste a few of their products and feel like as if you were there for...

It has lots of American products like: candy, cookies, cereals, soda and coke baking tools. The products have a high quality, they are reported from America. In our opinion the best products are the Nerds, and the different types of oreo cookies, are also very good. The staff is nice and attentive. The shop is little but the place is warm and we'll amantes. The products are little bit expensive but this is normal because we haven't wind of products there are imported from the USA. We recommend it because we think that tasting different products from other countries is really interesting

Listen. If Asian and Latino (and honestly all other ethnic) stores can import and not inflate their prices to literally 3x the market rate, why can't Americans?? Capitalist, profit-driven, greedy @#&&#+$. It's unfortunate these stores have a monopoly on American goods so they can just pick whatever price they want. Especially around Thanksgiving time.
