BARNA BITES — Restaurant in Barcelona

Barna Bites is absolutely a hidden gem in the heart of Barcelona. We ended up eating at Barna-Bites two days in a row — and we’d gladly have gone back for a third!

On the first day we both ordered the steak and chips, and it was absolutely spot on. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning to let the quality of the meat shine. The chips were golden, crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside — clearly freshly made. Alongside, we had the passion fruit mocktail, which was refreshingly tangy and not overly sweet — a perfect palate cleanser and incredibly thirst-quenching on a hot Barcelona day.

What really blew us away was that they brought us a complimentary starter: a generous helping of smooth, flavourful hummus paired with a freshly made, warm flatbread that was soft, pillowy, and beautifully charred from the grill. It was a lovely surprise and showed just how much care they put into their hospitality.

We returned the next day and tried their crispy pollo burgers — again served with those fantastic fries. The chicken was perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavour. What elevated it even more was their house-made aioli: rich, garlicky, and smooth, tying everything together. We paired it this time with a pineapple mocktail, which was wonderfully fresh and naturally sweet, with just the right balance of zing and chill.

One of the standout features of Barna Bites is that everything on the menu is fully halal, and there’s no alcohol served on the premises, making it a completely stress-free dining experience for Muslim diners. It’s rare to find somewhere so central and stylish that caters this thoughtfully.

The staff were genuinely lovely — friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of what they serve. The decor is clean and modern with comfortable seating, a relaxed ambiance, and thoughtful design touches that make the space feel both cozy and fresh. Even the bathrooms were spotless and well-kept — something we really appreciate when eating out.

We were honestly surprised it wasn’t busier — this place deserves to be packed. With fresh, flavourful food, great service, a welcoming vibe, and an ideal location, Barna Bites is a must-visit in Barcelona. We’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re in...

I had the pleasure of dining at Barna Bites today, and I can confidently say it was one of the most delicious steaks I’ve ever had. After a long and tiring flight, I stumbled upon this cosy restaurant and I’m so glad I did.

From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The service was truly outstanding 👏🏼 five stars without a doubt!

A special thank you to the Moroccan chef whose culinary skills turned a simple steak into a piece of art. Every bite was packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care and passion. It was exactly what I needed, and more.

We have ordered mini burgers which we’re having chicken fried mini burger grilled chicken ,beef burger so you can taste their all variety of burgers in one option .they have chicken and beef big burgers .having chicken grilled and barbecue and beef steak..tried their passion fruit margarita drinks which was extremely good .presentation is perfect staff is so sweet .owner is hardworking and friendly respectful guy .washroom are nice and clean.over all quality of food is excellent .just a thing vegetables are having a bit more oil which can avoid able .but over all highly recommend .must give them a try .perfect for evening dinner or brunch .having so many options for drinks and mojitos .wish them good luck...
