don Quijote Spanish School Granada — Local services in Granada

The teachers are amazing, Ramón gave us multiple tours around the city! I wouldn’t recommend you staying in the residencia. I booked for a shared student apartment, but was placed in the residencia instead without any discussion. The residencia was almost empty, and I was the only one staying there over the weekend. There is no security at all. The manager will leave the residency over the weekend and just completely close up the kitchen and eating area. You cannot use the kitchen over the weekends! At some point I was locked out of my room at night and called all the available emergency numbers from Don Quijote and the residency, but nobody picked up. It was lucky that I had a friend staying there that had a double room, otherwise I would’ve slept on the patio that night. The rooms aren’t cleaned well, and are also not really cleaned during your stay. They do have a washing machine with dryer! Location is...

I had a great experience here. The program is very solid, and I liked the structure. I can't say enough about the teachers - they were outstanding to a person. I stayed for 2 weeks, and my teachers rotated on the second week. That was great from the standpoint of more exposure to various speakers, and different styles of teaching. I stayed with a Spanish family the first week, then opted to move to Don Quixote's student housing for the second week. The staff was terrific in making the change smooth and convenient for me.

Don Quixote had outings and excursions in the local area, which gave me a chance to see the sights, practice my Spanish and get to know other students. The building and amenities were all very nice - clean, spacious, comfortable. I learned a lot of Spanish and a lot about the culture while I was there. My friend and I attended two weeks of immersive Spanish language classes in Granada and stayed at the school as well. It was a wonderful experience: the teachers and material were excellent, there were activities to learn about culture and see the city, the school facilities are clean and bright.
