Our first ticket booking for 11:30 was cancelled (notified via email). We rebooked to 14:00 and repaid the full price. Once we arrived, there was a massive queue even for prebooked tickets - we stood outside in the freezing cold for more than an hour. This is totally unacceptable given that we paid in excess of 50 EUR for the visit in advance. Furthermore, since there were no guards keeping the queue in order, we had to deal ourselves with people who tried to barge into the front of the queue. At the museum itself, there is a definite lack of signs directing the visitors where to go. Most of the rooms cannot be photographed which is odd (even enforced by guards which the queue outside severely lacks). I posted this review as a feedback to the Palace's site, and I'm posting it here as well, to try convincing others not to repeat the mistake of visiting the palace and spending precious tourist...

Read moreSoy docente de la Comunidad de Madrid y vengo realizando la visita al Palacio de Aranjuez muchos años y sin problema alguno tras escribir un correo directo a Palacio para confirmar. Actualmente me derivan a una página web que no reconoce contraseñas ni las recupera y que deriva a " venta de tickets" para grupo escolar. No se pueden reservar visitas escolares en otro idioma cuando podía realizarlas en inglés sin problema con programas Erasmus o intercambio escolar. Todo son problemas actualmente cuando intentamos comunicar cultura. Dejémos que nuestros jóvenes se sigan entreteniendo con el botellón y no pensemos en comunicar historia, estética, arte...y actividades relacionadas con la más pura...
