Best service and drinks on the island! This review way overdue. Visiting from Dublin Ireland 20-23/3/18 My self and the girl friend seen a fancy building standing out from a bunch of hotels as we were looking inland standing on the beach, so we decided to check it out in a desperate hope we would find a decent spot for a drink or some food. As I work in the bar industry I like to think I have good judgement when it comes to service standards & product quality. I'm going to start off with the staff and continue my rant ! (👌 = anything and everything amazing ) absolutely amazing! The lady at the entrance (dark curly hair) along with a security guy who was very well presented welcomed us with open arms. Thanks for that 👌 After a quick friendly chat with the host she sent us on are way up the lift to the roof top bar. As the lift door opened we were again welcomed by another awesome member of staff (she knew we were coming as the host was in contact with waitress via radio) great team work! 👌 We were giving a table of choice and were delightfully helped to are seats. one of the waitress brought over a blanket and ashtray and seen are table didn't have a cool funky lamp on it so brought one from another table. We really appreciated the little things! (👌) as i work in a bar I decided to check out the bar to see the setup/ layout & to check out the products and merchandise (very impressed). The bar woman was very busy at the time as I seen her, she had a round of 5 cocktails on the go and and a line of dockets up next. I respected she was busy and i had a scan of the bar counter for a menu as I didn't want to disrupt her flow. I was again amazed when the bar woman completely stopped what she was doing and turned around to me to to offer help. Not only did she stop what she was doing to help me she was totally relaxed and cool as a cucumber even though she was extremely busy 👌I wanted to shake her hand and tell her she's awesome but I knew that would be just weird 😂 The bar woman with the awesome round building skills insisted staff would drop the menu to the table. Again great service. 👌 After being guided through the menu by one of the waitress we placed are order. Soon followed ccomplementary bar snacks along with a water to the table infused with different fruits which changed each day. 👌 Waiting time for are drinks vs the time it takes to make the cocktails to the high standard they are, was excellent! I was very impressed with the attention to detail regarding the garnish and presentation of the cocktails & also the level of knowledge and confidence the servers had when they explained at the table ever aspect of the cocktail including homemade ingredients, funky glassware, home made garnishes even recommending in which order we should proceed to drink the cocktail and eat the garnish in order to get the best experience from the drinks. Insane work! Well done girls well done. 👌(⬅ unreal job) I have travelled around the world over many years and never have I ever received such amazing hospitality and service in my life. This cool casual cosy bar serving killer drinks with a low key dance/house dj playing on the weekends in a rooftop bar overlooking amazing views is definitely worth a visit. I was just a regular customer that walked through their door, when I left I felt like I was treated like a vip celebrity, good service good drinks good venue good people. So good I decided and planed to visit the bar each night for the remainder of my holiday . I returned the next two nights and was provided with the same amazing service that made me want to return after the first visit. 👌 At some point during my visit I interacted with every member of staff,,, each and every one of them were absolutely amazing. Thanks To all the Atelier staff you were the highlight of are holiday. The cocktail bar was easily to find, once we came there they asked if we came with an reservation and we didn’t had a reservation but that wasn’t a problem since it was quite late already. The view on the rooftop is amazing and the music is a relaxed vibe. It wasn’t too loudly it was a perfect volume to sit and chill. Also the sit places are very comfortable and the cocktails are very special and exotic. They aren’t very expensive but they are a little more expensive than a usual cocktail since these are very special made cocktails. You can also eat here but we didn’t know that so we already had dinner somewhere else so I can’t rate that. Besides that I wanna thank Melo, he was very kind to give us a spot even though we didn’t had a reservation. And I also I wanna thank Catalin he is a very nice guy that recommended us different kind of cocktails for if we liked sweet or more fruity taste or smoky taste if I write it correctly. After the drinks we had a little talk with Catalin about our holiday here in Gran Canaria he really is a nice and kind person. If you visit Gran Canaria someday I really recommend to visit the Atelier Cocktail bar it also has a very cool and fast elevator that brings you in seconds to...

One star, and that’s solely for the view. That’s the only positive. You ride up in an elevator that feels like an oven, only to be greeted by cold, unfriendly staff. They seat you among a crowd of chain-smokers at an uncomfortable chair with a wobbly table. You wait. You order. You wait some more. Then comes a glass of “roble” wine for a scandalous €10—weak and underwhelming. The service is downright unpleasant, bordering on rude. The bill for two glasses of wine and water? A jaw-dropping €25, completely unjustified for the quality and vibe of the place, not to mention the abysmal service. Two years ago, this was a fantastic spot with real character. One detail: back then, washing your hands in the bathroom left them smelling of luxurious Molton Brown Orange soap. Now? You’re scrubbing with cheap Lidl soap, while they keep the fancy packaging to pretend it’s still high-end. All this at the city’s steepest prices. Proceed with caution and avoid if you can. If the owners read this, maybe they’ll clear out this crew and restore the place’s former glory—it has potential. Right now, it’s an utter disappointment, and you’d better hold onto...
