Café la Habana — Local services in San Sebastián

On my last few visits to San Sebastian I've booked my accommodation in and around this area. This little place has been my go to cafe first thing in the morning to have a coffee and some breakfast and write. It's also often my last stop on the way home at night for a final beer. It's truly authentic and throughout the day there's a steady turnaround of locals wandering in and out for a coffee, or beer, or wine and a chat. It's more than reasonably priced. What's in the photo cost me €7. They don't have a massive selection of pinxtos, but they have the classics and they are all very well made, always fresh, and always delicious. It's a taste of non-touristy San Sebastian...

This café provided food that my fussy dining companion would actually eat, for which I am incredibly grateful. Wonderful little rolls: I had chicken and salad in mayo, and my dining companion had tuna mayo....

Somos ucranianos, mi marido y yo vinimos a ver San Sebastián dos días. Entramos en esta cafetería y nos llevamos una grata sorpresa: el barman, muy hospitalario, nos dijo qué comer de la cocina local, fue muy educado y sonriente. ¡Nos trajeron porciones increíbles de comida!)) ¡Todo estuvo muy sabroso y satisfactorio! ¡Salimos satisfechos y agradecidos con la tierra española por su deliciosa gastronomía! El ambiente es tranquilo y bueno. ¡¡muy recomendable!!!!🙏❤️🤘🤘🤗🤗🤗
