Jack's Candies Lanzarote — Local services in Tías

My 2nd visit to the area and my first visit to Jack’s Candies. I’m celiac and have various other allergies. The staff member (can’t recall her name unfortunately but she is from South America originally) was very helpful and has a list of allergens for each of the barrels of sweets. Obviously there is a risk of contamination in a store like this but because my allergies are not life threatening I felt it was as safe as most places that sell food. Just been in with my mum and dad 1 small bag, 1 medium bag and 1 slightly bigger bag. Wanted over €50 for the 3 then the female worker complained when we wouldn't pay it She then went on about the prices on the walls but why not have scales around the place to weigh as you go The worker then complained about the mixing of gluten and non gluten and she then proceeded to add everything back with no gloves touching all the food and mixing the gluten and non gluten which can be a very serious health hazard
