Ceramic lovers, this is the place for you! We wanted hand painted espresso cups as a gift and couldn’t find anything suitable in Madrid or Sevilla. A quick Google search led me to this amazing family business in Toledo so we made this a priority during our day trip. We met the owner (so kind, perfect English) and his father. There are several rooms all filled with hand painted ceramics. We picked a ‘modern’ design from the 13th century. The ceramics are dishwasher safe and highly chip resistant. Highly recommend Ceramics Serrano!

I’m totally in love with this shop. Lots of collection and absolutely gorgeous, it’s not cheap tho. Around 20 euros for a mug. But I’d say it’s the price for art. I came there 2ish and got kicked out because of lunch hours. 🤣🤣 So I’d recommend that you either come there early morning or after 3pm.

This place was awesome. They have a huge seleccion of ceramics. It is a family business which has been going on for generations, and you can tell that they know what they are doing. It is a little bit more expensive than the mormal touristy/souvenir ceramics, but you can be sure you are taking home a real piece of handcrafted ceramic.
