Restaurante Rinconcito Tap Station — Restaurant in Toledo

First day in Toledo, and we decided to visit a local restaurant for a meal, as we arrived late and most places were closed. Our order consisted of a salad, two beers, and BBQ ribs with deluxe fries.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was extremely poor. The ribs were of very low quality, seemingly frozen and comparable to supermarket brands like Tulip. They were merely reheated in a microwave and served with about ten frozen French fries. The meat was not properly heated, remaining cold on the inside while being warm on the outside, and they attempted to disguise this by adding BBQ sauce.

As for the salad, it was supposed to contain ham, but when we pointed out that it was missing, they showed us tiny shreds of what barely resembled ham. The entire experience felt like a complete scam! This establishment is clearly a tourist trap, focused solely on making money without any regard for quality.

The bill came to €40 for two people, while the actual cost of the food could not have been more than €10 in total. If they cannot improve their food, they would be better off closing down....

Yeehhh, Influencers!! Qué marcha?! Hoy toca Rinconcito Tap Station @rinconcito.tap.station Un viernes tranquilo y dos cafres deciden ir a Toledo a ver un colega, claramente, sin avisar. Hay que buscar un sitio y aquí acabamos. Estaba dentro de los soletes🌞 Repsol⛽️.

Platos 1️⃣ Croquetas variadas; 9,90€. Txogitxu, bacalao🐟 y chipirón🦑. Dos de cada tipo. Cremositas y bien de sabor. 2️⃣ Cartuchito del mar; 9,90€. Calamar🦑, sepia🦑 y chipirón🦑. Una fritura variada. Bien frito, bien rebozado y buen producto, no se puede pedir más. 3️⃣ Pulpo🐙 plancha con cachelos🥔 a la gallega; 21.90€. Una señora pata de pulpo. Bien ejecutada a la plancha y con unos cachelos perfectamente cocidos. Ni tan mal. 4️⃣ Costillas🐖 BBQ glaseadas al horno con patatas🥔 deluxe; 15,90€. Un costillar de buen tamaño. La carne se deshacía y el hueso salía solo. Muy bien. Acompañado con unos pimiento y patatas fritas. 5️⃣ Entrecot de vaca🐄 rubia txogitxu; 18,50€. Poco hecho. El punto bien y el producto también muy bien. Acompañado con patatas fritas. 6️⃣ Panacota de mazapán con helado de caramelo🍬; 6,50€. Que es en Toledo típico, el mazapán, aquí su postre. Una panacota estándar acompañada de almendra. A nosotros no nos triunfó, pero se dejaba comer. 7️⃣ Tarta de queso🧀 con frutos rojos; 5,50€. Una tarta con un grosor considerable, haciendo que su interior estuviera cremoso. Sabor a queso bien.

Conclusión: Nuestra visita fue el Marzo pasado. Salimos por unos 30€. Cenamos bien y nos sirvió para salir de fiesta. Relación C/P: Saliendo de la media. Repetir? Miá

This place is GREAT! They recently went through a major remodeling and the results are truly stunning. Good beers (named after cities, fun!) and superb food. There's a bit of everything: Rices (the Txoguitxu one is just delicious), assorted croquettes, traditional meatballs, calamari, grilled shrimps... They even have a selection of gourmet burgers and pasta :D Everything we tried was outstanding.

Service was great, really quick and accommodating, all of their suggestions were a huge success. If you have a sweet tooth, do not forget to try the Nutella calzone for dessert, yum! We will...
