Wonderful little neighborhood wine bar. Seems like a local hang as we noticed various waiters from other nearby restaurants stopping after work for a glass. The selection is great, every wine we tried was delicious. The main waitress (sorry, we never caught her name) was both passionate and knowledgeable about the wines. She asked a couple of questions, then said, "Trust me. Ok?" then would bring something fun and tasty. The food was also exceptional. Their beef carpaccio was the best my wife and I ever had. We came back two more times to have it again. The slow roasted pork ribs were another highlight. The menu was small, but had a good selection of dishes to cater to both allergies and vegans/vegetarians. The atmosphere was cozy and homey. The only complaint was the noise level, but not much you can do in that space when it is filled with people. This has been one of my favorite wine bars in València—the atmosphere, customer service, food, and the organic wine make Mevino a MUST visit while in València.

We ordered the cheese and meat platter, sweet potato bravas, and leek & mushroom croquetas. The sweet potato bravas I highly recommend! Something different than the traditional bravas…and in my opinion, better!

The organic wine was so good—the staff really know how to choose for you if you aren’t sure of what you want. Be sure to check out their specials of the day, you can have a glass of a highlighted wine!

For all my dog lovers who want to bring their dogs with them, Mevino allows dogs who are calm and well behaved. Always be sure to call beforehand...

If I could give Mevino six stars for their service alone, I certainly would!

For starters, all of their food was incredible and probably the best authentic Spanish food we had during our time here. We can’t recommend enough their cold cuts and olive oil, their cheese rolled in guanciale, and their mascarpone cheesecake, which was the lightest cheesecake we’ve ever eaten!

Aside from their menu, we had some of the most welcoming and accommodating service at Mevino that we’ve ever had. The owner was quick to make us feel at home with both food and wine recommendations, and all for a super reasonable price.

For intimate and tasteful dining, there’s nowhere else I’d go in Valencia! Thank you again...
