Green Hut — Restaurant in Arusha

Solid restaurant right in the middle of Arusha. Very close to the clock tower and numerous hostels and hotels. Is the food here the most amazing thing you’ll have…no. It’s cheap, quick and filling. They also offer take away lunch boxes that are decent. I have had one of the lunch boxes and dined in. Both pretty decent experiences. Only complaint is the food isn’t served hot. The table sauces are bubbly (meaning bacteria are doing their business in there). The chicken was pink inside. The chef said that's normal for local chickens, but the pink/blood clotty parts tasted funky too so I spit it out.
