From the moment I reached out to plan my safari, Frank and his team from Serengeti Clarity proved to be professional, detail-oriented, and completely in tune with what I was hoping to experience. They didn’t just create an itinerary; they curated a journey that was perfectly paced, thoughtfully customized, and seamless in every aspect. Every transfer, lodge, camp and activity was arranged with precision, and the service throughout was phenomenal. Whether it was game drives or special bush meals, everything flowed without a hitch. I always felt well taken care of, and the entire trip exceeded my expectations. This was my dream safari come true, thanks to their incredible planning.
And let me talk about our amazing masai guide - fondly called Captain Safari, Kelvin, I made a special request to Frank that I want only Kelvin as my guide, and I can't thank him enough .Kelvin wasn’t just a guide; he was the heart and soul of our safari. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make sure every moment was unforgettable. Knowing that my dream was to see lion cubs, he made it his mission, and he delivered beyond anything I hoped for. We saw not just one, but plenty of cubs, and he never rushed a sighting. His knowledge of the wildlife and the land was extraordinary, and his ability to spot animals,,, sometimes from what seemed like miles away, was astonishing. As soon as he receives any radio communication, he will be on the spot within minutes; he is a walking GPS , he navigates through all the national parks even during nights with so much ease, and we have always felt very, very safe.,
While our peers had to wait for hours and days to see the great migration(which was not even my dream), Kelvin, our hero, showed us with just 15 minutes of waiting time. Incredibly lucky to have such a knowledgeable guide with us.also, Kelvin made sure we saw the entire Big Five, often going out of his way to find the rare ones. He even arranged a night game drive that gave us a whole new perspective on the bush after dark, something I’ll never forget. Beyond that, he was warm, engaging, professional, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. His passion for wildlife was infectious. I feel fortunate to have had him as our guide. Oh, and he has amazing photography skills. What else do you need from a safari guide?! Also, he is not just a guide anymore, but a good friend. Did I say, I love sunsets, and Kelvin made sure to show me incredible African sunsets every single day!
This trip was so much more than just a holiday; it was a dream realized. From the breathtaking landscapes of Tanzania to the thrill of seeing wildlife up close, every moment was elevated by Serengeti Clarity's seamless planning and Kelvin’s outstanding guiding. The bush lunches were a particular highlight; eating freshly prepared meals surrounded by nature was magical, and the service was top-tier throughout.
Whether it was early morning drives, magical sunsets, or the quiet moments watching animals in their element, I will carry these memories with me forever. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, I can’t recommend Frank, SG, and their team, and especially Kelvin, highly enough. They don’t just deliver safaris; they deliver life-changing experiences.
At the end, I was given the most heartwarming and unexpected send-off. They surprised me with gifts of local artwork, a live music band, champagne, send off cake, and a truly emotional farewell. Frank made it clear that this wasn’t about money,it was about gratitude and genuine hospitality. He actively supports and promotes local artists, which I deeply admire. It was a moment that showed the true heart of this company.
They had no obligation to do any of that; we had already completed the trip and paid in full, but they chose to go the extra mile just to make me feel special. And they absolutely succeeded. Love these people very much!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Frank, Kelvin, and this whole company, if you want any personal recommendations or questions, feel free to ping me on IG...
Read moreI booked a 10 day Tanzania and Kenya safari with Serengeti Clarity for my parents (age low 60s) and my husband and myself (age low 30s). They did an absolutely amazing job and we had the best experience working with them. My parents said this was the best trip they’ve ever taken because it was such a rich experience. When it comes to everything you would care about for a trip to Africa - safety/security, thoroughness, learning, comfort, ease, thoughtfulness, cost - Serengeti Clarity does it all top notch.
Tour Operators: The tour operators handle the communication and coordination of your trip. This team is great. First of all, they respond so fast. I remember there were times where I’d get a response from them and I’d check the local time and it was 4 am their time. Second of all, they are super accommodating and great at personalizing your trip to exactly how you want it to be. I changed my itinerary a bunch of times, and they made sure to accommodate every detail, whether it be adding new excursions, changing routes, upgrading accommodations, etc. They created a personalized 20+ page itinerary for me that I basically used as my bible. It had so much detail that when I was applying for my Kenya visa, it was so easy because all the information I needed (about things like which border we were crossing in from) were already included! Third of all, they really go above and beyond to ensure that you feel really comfortable about your trip. I have 2 really great examples of this. I put in the incorrect birth country when applying for the Tanzania visa and I was super stressed about this and whether they would be allowed in the country. I tried contacting the embassy, but they weren’t responding to emails. I messaged our Serengeti Clarity tour operators with my concern, and although this was totally out of scope for them, they went and called the embassy from their side to help assure us that there’d be no problems on entry! This really gave me peace of mind prior to us flying in. The other amazing above and beyond thing they did was really make sure our accommodations were to our expectations. They went to examine our accommodations themselves to ensure they were of high standards and provided recommendations to us. Lastly, for cost, if I had booked everything on my own, I would have had to spend a few thousand dollars more per person.
I’m honestly so thankful for the Serengeti Clarity team and all their thoroughness and thoughtfulness that went into planning my trip. I normally plan my trips on my own, so I have very high expectations, but Serengeti Clarity met and exceeded all of them.
Tour Guides: We went on a 6 day Tanzania Safari with Kelvin from Serengeti Clarity and a 4 day Kenya Safari with George from MeekTrails (partner tour company on the Kenya side). Both our guides were absolutely amazing. They actually had slightly different styles, which worked out really well! Kelvin was like your new best friend and family member as a tour guide. We could tell he cared deeply for us, and he made us feel so comfortable from the very start of our trip. At the end of our 6 days, my dad was actually best pals with Kelvin, which is really impressive because my whole family is really quite shy. He also hustled to get us to see all the things we wanted to see and checked off a bunch of things from our list - his expertise and decision making really allowed us to experience Tanzania to the fullest. George was the perfect role model for an extremely professional tour guide. After more than halfway through our trip, we were pretty tired, but he helped us close out our trip in leisure and comfort. Both were excellent and exactly what we needed in that moment. After being with both of them, I have SO much respect for our tour guides and all the skills they have that make them such amazing guides.
I hope you book with Serengeti Clarity. The team is amazing and we could not have had such an amazing experience and journey without them. (I had much more to say about their amazing news but hit the...

I understand that a person being friendly but posting one’s photo to his own WhatsApp status with unrelated caption does not mean he is a friendly guide. I did not screenshot the earlier one (with inappropriate caption) but I am attaching another screenshot of photo that he had posted. I understand that social media has grown to be a tool for promotion, this photo clearly has nothing to do with promoting the business. I did not want to mention this earlier as I don’t feel comfortable to share, but he did asked few times if he can touch my hair. I firmly said no a few times then he only stopped asking. A friendly guide wouldn’t want to touch a guest’s hair, not to mention he pat my head and nose a few times during the trip. These are not being friendly but being disrespectful.
I do not want to talk about this further as the damage has done. I hope our conversation ends here and I do not wish for any more messages.

These are my feedback to the owner, Frank and sharing here for reference. I saw all the reviews were positive so maybe it’s not my luck. 2 stars because the accommodation was fantastic and the safari itself was ok.
“I would like to share my feedback before posting any review. First of all, I chose Serengeti Clarity because of good review for communication. As someone who travel solo and first time travelling in Tanzania, I would like to trust myself with someone who is good in communication.
However, I didn’t have much communication with the companies as my message were left on read few times, and only gotten reply after long days. I do understand it was peak season but however I would still like a response as simple as react or just let me to wait until further notice other than no replying.
Continue as above, since there is not much communication, I was surprised when the team asked about my flight info on my arrival day at office despite I have sent them twice in the conversation, with one of them even a screenshot of my flight detail.
About my tour guide, I personally think he was not being professional. First of all, he was constantly late everyday, and I have to wait for him everyday. On the arrival day, I have waited in airport around 30 minutes in front of the arrival hall, same goes to the day on my balloon safari, I am the only one who have to wait for my guide while everyone’s guide welcome them upon arrival. I was being nice on the first day to wait for him to withdraw money at the bank despite it was not part of my itinerary. But constantly waiting for him everyday was not fair for me as customer. This showing up late behaviour has almost caused me to miss my flight yesterday. Yes I do understand the car broke down but if he would depart on time as promised, I wouldn’t have to rush my way to check in.
During the 5 days with him, he did sometimes like to touch me (head and nose) without my consent. He said that he was joking with me but as a solo female I do not feel comfortable with it. He even took few of my photos without consent and posted to his WhatsApp status. I was being nice and friendly but that doesn’t mean he can overstep the boundaries.
There was once he went to refuel at petrol station, but ended up disappearing midway without letting me know. I was left alone in the car for about 15 minutes not knowing what’s going on.
During my safari, he was also constantly on the phone call and checking messages. He did explained to me that he had personal matter which I totally understand. But being late everyday, touching me and not being professional is something I wouldn’t accept with the amount I have paid. I do expect at least being professional at work.
If you want me to be honest, I would said it was the worst trip I’ve ever had from starting to the end. Luckily the safari itself was amazing and life time experience or else I would regret of coming to Tanzania. I hope you guys can do better next time for others.
I wish everyone all the best...
