My experience at Healthy Junk was a bit of a mixed bag. While there were definitely some positives, there were also a few disappointments that hindered my overall satisfaction with the meal.
I also found that the menu at Healthy Junk could be a bit clearer in terms of labeling. I initially ordered from the main menu, only to discover that some items were actually sides that were not clearly communicated. Additionally, after receiving my food, I requested syrup and ketchup, only to be charged extra for these condiments. If the menu had been more specific about these additional charges, it would have been helpful in avoiding any surprises.
Furthermore, the protein shake I ordered was decent but nothing special. It was a standard shake with no standout flavors or ingredients. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to try the Protein Gelato, which I had been looking forward to.
Lastly, I found the pancakes to be a bit dry and clammy, which was a bit disappointing given the initial promise of the gluten-free option. However, the portion size was smaller than expected and I was surprised to find out that the order only included two pancakes. This lack of clarity on the menu led to some confusion and left me wishing I had ordered more.
Overall, while there were some highlights to my meal at Healthy Junk, there were also some drawbacks that impacted my overall experience. With some improvements in menu clarity and consistency in food quality, this restaurant has the potential to excel...
Read moreThis place is a disaster. We went 5 times because the food is great if they get your order right… but every single time we went one of us had a problem with the order. Our problems ranged from being served completely unripe avocado, to asking for things off the plate due to allergies and being served them anyway. Then when we sent it back, it was clear they just took it out, making the food inedible. The last straw was ordering a dish we had a few times before (burrata on toast). As soon as we walked in the servers already had an attitude. We ordered and were told there was only enough burrata for one. Fine. The dish we got served was nothing like what we experienced in the past. The toast and the bacon were completely burnt, the basil looked old, the burrata was hard and we got half a serving of scrambled eggs as opposed to the other days. When we complained we were asked to “wait” to see if we had to pay for this disgusting dish that we obviously didn’t eat. All in all, this was the last straw and i am confident to say we’re never going back. It’s a shame really, the food tastes good but the kitchen staff just don’t care for quality control and the girl servers have a...
Read moreI’m so disappointed that decided to write. I never had a salad with so much salt in my life . I couldn’t eat it and I’m taking away , I don’t even know why, actually, just because of the overprice. The sweet potato fries saved a little bit, but when I ask for a vegan sauce, they couldn’t assure me that there was any option of vegan sauce. So I just ate the fries with no sauce, and again, so much salt. The protein shake had no flavor at all, it was almost just pure ice only. And you pay a high price for ice. For a place that claims to be healthy, this was one of the most disappointing and expensive experiences I had so far. I hope they lower their prices for this quality , or improve it to make sense.

It was such a good surprise to have this situation to unfold like this! Thank you so much and this reminded me that I could also do a better job on communicating my needs earlier 🙏 Thank you so much...
