The Lotus group in Thailand was once a branch of Tesco UK so visitors from the UK will understand that Lotus is a one stop shop. This Lotus store is located at the end of Fortune Town, which is a few metres from Phram 9 MRT station. Take the Fortune Town exit. The store has a food hall where a multitude of freshly cooked Thai dishes is available at street market prices. The lower level has fresh meat, fruit and vegetables for sale, along with every conceivable grocery item. Also a fair selection of wines, spirits and beers. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lotus’s shopping mall in Bangkok, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The mall is so spacious, clean, and well-organized that it felt a breeze to wander around. I placed an order through TescoLotus.com for delivery later that evening, but when Foodpanda called me that foodpanda was arriving I told foodpanda that I did not make a foodPanda order and I had no orders listed in the foodpanda app or website. However, although TescoLotus.com and the order confirmation emails don't seem to mention it, delivery of paper products and groceries might be through foodpanda (I guess it might be through Grab / LineMan too)? So if you get a call from foodpanda about an unexpected delivery, know that it may be Tesco Lotus.
