Probably the worst experience I’ve had in any Uniqlo I’ve been to… I came to the store around 10:15 (they open at 10:00) to exchange items I ordered online and the employee behind the counter looked annoyed as if I was bothering her. (As a Thai myself, I apologize for our culture of being slow/late even in professional settings.) When the exchange started, another employee came over and said that if I ordered items online, I must return them online. The previous day I had discussed with online customer service to confirm that I could exchange the items I ordered online but then was given new/different information after I had already taken the time to go to the physical store. They smiled and said I couldn’t exchange or return the items to which I replied “Ok..so what am I supposed to do with these unopened, unused items with the tags still attached?” They told me to take the items home, contact customer service online, and try AGAIN. When I accepted that this was going nowhere, I asked if I could at least have a bag to carry the items I brought with me but was told I’ll need to pay extra. It was like talking in circles with unhappy employees who hate their jobs and who don’t care about their...
Read moreIf you see a deal or a price reduction on a clothing item, you should get a price check.
We tried to buy a shirt that was on sale for 190 baht but it rang up as 390 baht. When I told the cashier, she said it was mislabelled and took the shirt out of the bag and TOOK OFF THE DISCOUNT STICKER!! So we got another shirt (same color, style, and packaging) that had the 190 baht sticker on it and she still claimed it was mislabelled. She then said that there were other clothes that were 190 baht but it was different material.
This was extremely unprofessional and I really do like Uniqlo. I understand mistakes happen but it is unexcusable when multiple items have a discount sticker but then is considered "mislabelled" when checking out. It is also unexcusable that the discount sticker was ripped off after I pointed it out .
Skip this Uniqlo and go to a different location in...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I bought a bunch of stuff the day before and I specifically asked if their supima shirts shrink after a wash or not. I was told no after the employee looked at the tag. I washed and dried one to test it in cold water and low heat dryer. It shrunk. I came to exchange the shirts to a large today and was told I couldn’t exchange the one I washed since the tag was taken off. This is all OK as the shirt wasn’t expensive but based on principle I ask if it was my fault that I was given bad info by their employee and no way I could test shrinkage without taking the tag off. Kee (I believe her name was) starts speaking and she is speaking fast. She has a very heavy accent and has a mask. I just tell her and I quote I can’t understand you, can you please speak slower. She does a big eye roll and takes a deep breath like I insulted her or something by...
