I booked my appointment last minute and the salon was very flexible on time. Pauline (English speaker at the salon) was very friendly and provided me with the best advice on time allocation for the appointment and the best way to prevent unnecessary damage to my hair (initially I wanted to permanently straighten my hair and color it in the same appointment). I got permanent straightening done for the first time and even though the hair stylists themselves could not speak English, the assistant hairstylist Ann, was very thoughtful in telling me how long each incubation step will take and when they will come to get me. My hair was super curly and medium length and the hair stylist, Mon said I needed to do two rounds of treatment for it to properly set. The amount of care and time they put into my hair was greatly appreciated. It has been 4 weeks since I got back from Thailand and my hair is still in very good condition. I wanted my hair to be low maintenance for work and that's what Moga was able to do for me! I just shower, add a bit of leave-in conditioner and let it air dry for it to be straight. Definitely recommend this salon....
Read moreI don’t hate it I just don’t think I’ll ever go back if I ever need a haircut in Bangkok. Given that they are quite a fancy place and the price range is quite steep also, you would expect better service. Yet all I felt was being rushed everywhere. 1: through my hair wash: felt like I was going to lose my head literally by the end of the hair wash. Sure you get a two minutes massage on your hands but still. 2: Haircut was really quick but professionally done (I guess). I don’t know how salons work here but getting a hair cut (40usd above) I would assume that they would ask me how I like my hair styled after the cut but all I got was a quick straight blow dry- partially my fault too I could have said something but I was a bit occupied to notice what was going on. A little bit disappointed overall even though I kinda expected it based on others review but thought they might have improved...
Read moreWorst experience with a hairdresser in my entire life. I booked a haircut and was explicitly asked by someone who could speak English well. A very nice woman asked what I wanted, and I specifically told: her a haircut and explained what I wanted. After the haircut, they took me to wash my hair and then started to put a sort of cream on my hair. I questioned if it was a conditioner, and she said no, and showed me a hair mask. I haven't asked for that, but I tough it was how the procedure was in this hairdresser. In the end, they charged almost three times de price ( 5.000 instead of 1700) of a haircut for a service that I hadn't explicitly asked. When I confronted them, they said I should have stopped them. This is completely unacceptable. Avoid this hairdresser. By the way, the haircut was...
