First time trying Airportels luggage forwarding in Bangkok- from hotel to airport, same day service, 2 bags. Thought it will be as professional and reliable as Japan's luggage forwarding service. How wrong were we! We placed the order online and received the order confirmation details. However, on day itself, to our horror, they did not even pick up our luggage from our hotel 1 hr before the supposed collection time at the airport.

We had to rush like mad on our end to get our luggage from our hotel, get a big enough taxi to fit our big bags during peak hour, go through traffic jam and scramble to check in and go through immigration, barely making it for our flight.

The reason they gave for this non-existent service is that it's system error and they didn't get our order! For such a big company and offering luggage service to airport that is time sensitive, this is such an atrocious screw-up. And all the customer service staff did over Messenger was to say sorry and offered refund. When I said how unhappy I am and how much inconvenience and stress this caused our family, and that refund should be a given...and they should do more to compensate our added costs and stress, staff said company terms state that all they can do is to give refund. I quoted their 100% guarantee on that website, that luggage will reach destination safely. And I stated that we the customer at our expense, helped them to save on the cost of flying our luggage back to our home country, or the cost of our flight delay) Staff again simply quoted they are following company terms that they could only give refund. Staff refused to give his/her name. I asked for manager to speak to - and staff refused to connect me to any manager and said that this is what the manager told him to tell me. I asked for manager's name, and again, staff refused to give it to me. So even after the mess they caused, their customer service recovery is also so lacking, cold, and dismissive.

My Airbnb host recommended this service to us since we had a late flight out of Bangkok and had to checkout early. I really did not want to carry around 3 luggage’s when we did last minute shopping. We gave this service a shot and boy it did not disappoint. They were quick to pick up our luggage from our Airbnb. They take a picture of your luggage before pickup and you can track your luggage’s on your phone. Once they arrive at the location you tell them to go, they will take another picture and let you know your baggage is at your chosen destination.

Once we got to Bangkok Airport (BKK) our bags were ready to go. Getting them was a breeze given the great directions by the company on how to retrieve them. I highly recommend this service to anyone who doesn’t want to lug there baggage around the city while they wait for...

It was pretty convenient to register at the counter. Overall my experience was great. They check the condition of your luggage before they accept it. They notify you when the luggage are being moved and when it arrived. I only don’t know why they need my flight number. Luckily, I had information at hand. But if I didn’t have them as most of my information were through my mails, I don’t know what would happen.

Anyway, I also wasn’t unsure about the pickup time for my luggage. I was late for 30mins but they were kind enough to let it slide. (However, I do not know if there are delay penalty)
