Patong Tower Vacations — Local services in Patong

We have travelled to Thailand many times and been to Patong many times. If you have never been to patong, its very very lively and not for the shy. Although we like it here and have many friends in Patong.||We decided to take a couple of these condos, myself and my wife in1402s and daughter and boyfriend in 1401s, both on the 14th floor with the s standing for seaview. The tower is set around 100yards back from the beach front, Bangla road is a slow 5 minute walk at the most, many would make it in half that time. The tower is surrounded by bars and restaurants in both directions. As you can walk out the back to the second road, where there is a better selection than the beach road.||The tower itself looks fairly impressive and is in reasonable condition, probably around 35 floors in height, with 3 fast lifts and seemingly a mixture of holiday rentals and private owners living full time there. On check in at reception we were handed keys, informed the electric meter would be read on the last day, simple. The two flats are in good shape, everything you might want seemed to be in the flat, everything seemed to work, very comfortable. I really liked our one from the moment i walked in.||We stayed 17 nights, never had a problem with anything and the flat was cleaned and bedding changed everyday. In low season, we felt this was good value accommodation and will probably return, although the high season prices looked a little too steep? There is a small pool just opposite the front entrance, but no bar or cafe there and due to it being in the shade a fair bit,, the water is a little cooler than I expected.||Summary||On the plus side, good spacious clean accommodation at a realistic price in mid and low season, good position, nice a for longer independent stay, also seems secure, as you have a receptionist 24 hour, the place has cameras and lifts have a fob on your flat keys to stop anyone going up in the lifts. All very good.||On the minus side, the list is short, only 2. On the 14 floor, it became a little tiny bit of a chore going in and out. The lifts are good and fast, but very hot inside. In fairness it might be us, as we have never lived or stayed in anything high rise before?? So my only real moan is the final electric bill, both flats accrued a bill of around 4000 Baht, this seemed very high? It translates into around £94 and multiplied into a month would be somewhere in the region of double the electric bill I pay for my 300m detached house in London!!! I suspect the staff might be doing quite well out of this?||All in...

First the check-in or rather before the check-in itself Mr. Dharmender Rai was in touch with me on Whatsapp regarding my timings and any requirements that I would have. The check-in was extremely smooth. The apartment was clean and well-appointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms smelling fresh. The kitchen well-equipped with basic utensils and the wifi offering great net connectivity. The balcony overlooking the Patong beach offered breath-taking views. I believe a previous reviewer had mentioned the unavailability of the balcony due to dripping water from the ACs, well that was duly taken care of now and drain pipes were placed to channelize the AC water thus allowing us to enjoy the views from the huge balcony. The swimming pool though looked very promising had to be kept aside due to our busy itinerary. Even after check-in Mrs. Lek was so warm and friendly and made sure that our stay was more than comfortable. She is the all-in-one lady at this place, right from the manager to the housekeeping and yet you would never face a moment of slack in service. She also arrived early in the morning for our check-out to ensure all was well before we left. The place is close to every thing and literally a stone's throw away from Patong beach and Bangla road. If you want to go to Phuket and be in Patong in a homely environ, look no where else, this...

Easily the best location in all of patong. Close to shopping centres, across the road from the beach and 2 minutes walk to Bangla rd. Our apartment on the 15th floor & had 2 bedrooms. It was clean and the shower had excellent water pressure. The apartment was serviced daily. We had an amazing sea view and spent many hours on the balcony enjoying the view with something to see in every direction. Check in and out was great and they were very flexible, not making us stick to certain times. We had use of three big swimming pools. The apartment we stayed in did not have Internet, though it can be purchased from the lobby at a reasonable price. All the apartments are different from each other so many do have Internet included. There were no electricity issues and we did not have to pay extra as water and electricity was included in our accommodation cost. Would definitely stay at patong...
