To long to write In short
Incompetent staff Rude attitude 0 hospitality House keeping was a nightmare Unwilling to accept responsibility Definitely not going back there and ain't recommending to anyone
3 days stay , 6th time staying there , but this will be my last time .
Came back after a tiring day around patong with my baby and 2 elderly parents. Took 2 room .
1st day housekeeping was late . Doing the rooms at 1630 hrs . I didt say anything . Patience was still very much high .
2nd day housekeeping was at the beside room around 10 am . Under the impression next will be my parents room then mine , we went out to come back at 1630 hrs to see room not done yet . Patience went down the drain and I decided to talk to a manager. Reception called the manager but when the manager came she had a frustrated face with 0 interest to talk to me . So I asked her why ain't she talking to me regarding this . With no smile and 0 hospitality the answer was housekeeping will get to my room when they have the time . I told her I put on the " please clean room " sign on since 8am . And now my parents and child is tired . No clean towel to shower . Undone bed to rest in . And her volume was rising when I said that I cant accept the answer I want my room cleaned. Upon her rudeness my volume increased. And she went all defensive as in I am wrong asking for something that's surpose to be the hotel job . I am a paying guest. That's not the way you should talk to your guest. Anyone in my place will act the same .
When asked to talk to someone above her . I was denied to the reason. There is no one around. Ask for the phone no to talk on the phone. Was denied .
The blame was later given to housekeeping manager , saying that they will only do the rooms that are checked out first . Then only if time permits they will attend the rest of the room .
So basically, once u payed n already checked in . They dont care bout you . Cos money is in.
Since then till I check out I was greeted with sour faces . No one was interested to apologise, hotel manager didt get back to me .
Housekeeping cleaned the room , change towel and bed spread only . No vacuum of the balcony or room was done. Wash room was left as it is .
I was to pissed to say anything anymore or it would have escalated future. Just could not wait to get out the place for my own peace .
15 times in phuket , 6 times booking in ban lai mai . Total booked 12 rooms in all times. A frequent customer but definitely last time for me , my family and friends .
Rude behaviour is something I cant accept . They have just destroyed my years of high regards of the famous thailand hospitality towards tourist.
Thank you for a few wonderful stays and one disaster stay .
I am not interested in any reply for the management as I wont make a difference to me...

I recently stayed at Baan Hotel and, while the location and overall appearance of the hotel are appealing, I had a highly disappointing experience due to the service and conditions of the room.
Firstly, I needed assistance carrying a dress from outside up to my room. When I kindly requested help from the hotel staff, they refused, stating that they couldn't assist with items from outside. While I respected their policy, it was particularly difficult for me as I was feeling unwell at the time. Despite this, what was most upsetting was the behavior of the receptionist, MJ. His attitude was extremely unprofessional; he screamed in my face, which was both shocking and upsetting.
When I asked to speak with the manager, there was no one available. I then requested to speak with a supervisor, and Pare came to assist. Unfortunately, she seemed more interested in covering for MJ rather than addressing my concerns. She handed me a blank paper with no contact information when I requested to file a complaint, which left me no choice but to turn to Google Maps to ensure my feedback reached management.
In addition to the service issues, my room (in the 3000 series) was plagued by noise from nearby music, making it impossible to sleep for three nights. Furthermore, there was a persistent bad smell in the room, adding to my discomfort.
While the hotel itself is nice and well-located, the combination of poor service, noise, and unpleasant odors made my stay far from satisfactory. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve the experience for future guests.

Review
Our stay at Baanlaimai has been truly wonderful! The resort is located right near the beach, making it a perfect getaway for relaxation. I highly recommend booking a beachside room—it’s slightly expensive but absolutely worth it for the breathtaking views and serene experience.
The hospitality here is exceptional. The staff is extremely polite and always ready to assist. A special mention to First, who took some lovely photographs for us, and Deer, who was incredibly helpful and kind. Their warmth and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable.
The restaurant is right next to the beach, offering a stunning view while dining. The spread is great, and the room service is efficient. Although I couldn't find my Equal sweetener in the room, I got it from the breakfast area, so no complaints there. The Thai-style omelette is a must-try—absolutely delicious and highly recommended!
The weather has been a mix—yesterday was quite humid, and today, it looks like it might rain. But that hasn’t dampened our experience at all.
I did indulge a little more in the food (because everything was so good!), so my aunt insisted I hit the gym. I actually worked out for 20 minutes on the treadmill, incline set at 6.4, and the gym instructor was very polite. He even suggested I come back in the evening, subtly hinting that a little extra effort would do me good—which I completely agree with!
A small tip—Google Translate is a lifesaver for any language barriers. It made communication seamless and ensured we got exactly what we wanted.
Overall, this has been a fantastic experience, and I truly love this place. The management and staff deserve full appreciation for their hospitality and service. Looking forward to...
