Scam and terrible food – absolutely not recommended

Our visit to this restaurant was a major disappointment. The food was old, partly unhygienic, and tasted awful. But even worse was their attempt to rip us off: we were told that some items were free – yet they ended up charging 600 Lira for them on the bill. On top of that, they added a “tip” of 750 Lira without our consent. The waiter even had the audacity to ask upfront how much tip he would get.

In total, they scammed us out of 30 to 50 euros. When we confronted the staff about it, they started speaking in Turkish, assuming we wouldn’t understand as foreigners – a big mistake, because we did understand every word.

Absolutely not recommended – if you don’t want to get ripped off,...

They're enticing you along the road, they take a long time to prepare the food, the quality is terrible, one of the worst places we've eaten in Istanbul. They even cheat you on the bill, adding non-existent taxes to the total....

Leider abgezockt. Die Bedienung war nett. Das Restaurant sauber. Aber leider wurden wir abgezockt. Preis für Pizza war 650 TRY auf den Schild, das haben wir auch gleich drauf gezeigt und bestellt. In der Rechnung wurde, aber Pizza mit 1000 TRY berechnet. Die Pizza war von Geschmack ok, nichts besonderes. Wasser was ohne zu fragen uns ins Glas eingeschenkt wurden war und zwei Orangensäfte wurden in Rechnung mit 600 TRY berechnet. 1.600 TRY gesamt bezahlt für zwei Orangensäfte, Flasche Wasser was von uns nicht bestellt war und eine Pizza (was normalerweise 650 TRY kosten sollte). Da wir uns zum Flughafen beeilen mussten, hatten wir nicht die Zeit, mit Bedienung zu diskutieren um...
