We chose this place for our anniversary, but it was a nightmare. The view may be beautiful, the ambiance enchanting, but the food was so terrible that even the simplest homemade meal could have turned into a feast compared to what was served here. No matter how dazzling the view and ambiance were, the food was so awful that we were genuinely shocked by what we encountered.
To put it bluntly, they had insulted Turkish cuisine. Who in their right mind would pay over 500 liras for 4 grape leaves stuffed with rice? We did, and we were left speechless; the result was a complete disaster. Believe me, even a store-bought stuffed grape leaves would have more flavor. The 350 TL "wood shavings" pastry they served was nothing more than a money trap. And a 900 TL lamb stew? A true disgrace. Fifty grams of meat placed in the center of an oily rice mountain. Even at home, you'd get a more thoughtful presentation. Unbelievable. If this isn't a rip-off, then what is? By paying these prices for the meals, they set a new standard for tastelessness. In short, they ruined both our evening and the reputation of Turkish cuisine.
Don't expect anything in terms of flavor because this restaurant is like the new definition of tastelessness. The fact that they could misrepresent Turkish cuisine so badly should go down as a stain in the history of gastronomy. It was the worst dining experience of my life, and everyone needs to know this truth.
The exorbitant prices are entirely nonsensical. People pay this much money only for good food. However, this restaurant not only empties your wallet but also destroys your palate. Honestly, what infuriated me the most was the horrible representation of Turkish cuisine.
By highlighting the poor quality of this restaurant, I wanted to prevent others from making the same mistake. Dining here is not only a disappointment but also a source of regret. I hope this feedback contributes to the improvement of the restaurant.
Read moreWe recently visited Biz Istanbul for a special birthday dinner and were impressed by many aspects. We made a reservation through American Express's Travel and Lifestyle service, but upon arrival, it wasn't showing in their system. Thankfully, Amex was able to intervene and the restaurant graciously honored our reservation.
The atmosphere at Biz Istanbul is truly stunning. The restaurant boasts beautiful decor and offers incredible views of the city. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained.
The food itself was delicious and adventurous. We tried a variety of dishes, including a unique dessert featuring chicken that surprisingly worked beautifully. The Moscow Mules were strong and refreshing, though we would have loved them even more if they were served in traditional copper mugs.
Overall, Biz Istanbul is a great choice for a special occasion. The combination of stunning views, delicious food, friendly service, and clean facilities make it a memorable dining experience. Just be sure to double-check your reservation beforehand, especially if you book through a...
Read moreImpressive in terms of panoramic views and its interpretation and presentation of the Turkish cuisine it offers, a must visit venue when with friends from abroad. Went as a invitee for a cocktail party, and plan to be back soon for a full trial. Bravo Dream Group well done!! 02/25 lunch update: not too crowded for late lunch. The initial bread served alongside bitter orange infused butter was a bit over cooked. Enjoyed the tarama. Talaş börek and meat were tasty. John Dory so and so. Main dishes seem to almost exclusively concentrate upon red meat, spotted a few fish dishes one of which was unseasonal. How about vegans and vegetarians, where are the plant based mains of the Turkish cousine?? Wine by the glass menu almost exclusively concentrated upon dream group grown wines, why?? The waiters don’t know the difference btw ice cream and sorbet, pls teach them and make them taste the menu - they should know what they are serving. The couches are not clean enough they were full of bread crumbs even at...
