You should avoid this property. ||||The presentation is ok, the room was clean but we have several concerns about this.||||1. It's a fire trap. There is only one small narrow staircase in and out. This is bad enough to walk up but in an in an emergency if there were a fire you would die. The doors from the rooms and out to the front door all operate on a key to exit rather than a single downward action that most emergency doors should. There are no smoke seals on the doors. ||||2. There is no signage to find the hotel until you're in it. Alarm bells. There is no foyer it's more of a converted house.||||3. We picked this place because it had 9.2 on booking.com for location. It's located next to a main eating area of town which is great. It's at the bottom of the hill to the Grand Bazaar about a 10 min walk away. There is train and ferry terminal within 500m but location is not great. Being in a main eatery area means lots of noise at night, great if you want to hear live musicians playing at restaurants not if you want to sleep. So no lift, lots of walking up and down the hills, the last thing you want is to climb 5 stories of stairs when your legs are tired after walking all day.||||4. Noise. The rooms have no sound proofing between floors. You can everything above and below. Music children and the rest.||||5. They don't accept credit card. This just screamed unprofessional business given the local breakfast restaurant does.||||6. Our room wasn't ready on arrival 'plumbing issues' so we had to change rooms on day 2 a bit of an inconvenience. Alas the shower that we again reported in the new room continued to drip for the three days. ||||7. Cleanliness, the rooms were clean alas the bathroom with constant water running had signs of black mould. ||||8. Bad design. Aside from the staircase, the bathroom had a terrible design. Not practical and poor lighting. They looked to spend a good amount on the fit out but forgot to thing though the design. ||||9. Other than hand soap there was no soap or shampoo provided. ||||10. Location #2. It's next to a Syrian refugee processing center. Not sure if that's good or bad. ||||11. No staffed reception. If you need anything you need to call the owner/manager. Really inconvenient and expensive if you don't have a local sim.||||12. The staff were nice and friendly. ||||13. They should give the guys that sell tea and sell Turkish delight downstairs some reception role. They are friendly and know everything going on could probably offer a great range of...

Read moreI recently had the displeasure of staying at your hotel and I feel compelled to share my extremely unsatisfactory experience.
Let me start by acknowledging that the hotel room itself was fairly decent. It had ample space and the shower was commendable. However, I was shocked to find that the room cleanliness was not maintained on a daily basis. This is an absolute basic expectation that any guest has.
The most disappointing aspect of my stay was the breakfast offered at your so-called 5-star hotel. To put it bluntly, it was abysmal. The breakfast spread consisted of a solitary boiled egg accompanied by a few meager pieces of cheese and bread. Such a minimalistic offering is far from the standard one would expect from a reputed 5-star hotel. This alone undermines the credibility of your claims and tarnishes the overall experience.
Another significant drawback was the accessibility issue. The lack of a functional and convenient option for elder guests or those with mobility concerns is a serious oversight. The nightmare of climbing the stairs to reach the second floor was truly unexpected and not in line with a supposedly upscale accommodation.
Adding salt to the wound was the exorbitant daily rate I was charged. Paying nearly 100 euros a day for a stay that fell far short of expectations is simply unacceptable. The value for money was severely lacking, especially when compared to the more reasonably priced options in the vicinity of Fatih.
I regret to say that my stay at your hotel was nothing short of a disappointment. The issues I encountered, from inconsistent room maintenance and a lackluster breakfast to accessibility problems and an inflated price point, collectively painted a picture of a place that failed to live up to its claims.
I sincerely hope that you take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for...
