We are a family and booked standard tables (far from the stage) as we are not interested a lot in live shows.
The food portion was so small that we went to a restaurant after the trip. The package comes with unlimited soft drinks, but the drinks were with little gas. It seems the bottles were reopened a lot.
The service was good and friendly staff. Pick up and drop off is included
A lot of music, dance, shows, etc... Lovely experience in general

Read moreITS A TOURIST TRAP!!! We really wanted to try a dinner on the bosphorus during our stay in beginning of May and looked up the best cruise ships. This specific one ( the majesty cruise) came up and we decided to contact them with the WhatsApp number. They replied promptly and we decided to book a private table with no alcohol close to the stage, due to the high price we didn’t take the VIP table. It included unlimited soft drinks. We were super excited , we were picked at our hotel, the van was recent. until we were dropped at the cruise ship dock. We had to wait for 1 hours in a small coffee shop with no bathrooms and then, we were asked to go outside and walk to the cruise where there was at least 500 people lined up and waiting outside under the rain and cold weather. It took at least another hour to get on the ship. Once inside, our table was disappointing because we paid to be close to the stage and got a beam in front of us blocking our view. The table is so close to the others there is no space to move. We felt like sardines. We had the table right next to us so close it was awkward. Also during the show, they had their own camera man filming and blocking our view right in front of the stage. Then after each act, the dancers would come around each table with a hat asking for money and they want euros not Turkish liras. Someone put Turkish liras, the dancers removed it and gave them back rudely! We were shocked! Then the waiter who was rude and always in a rush never really stop at our table. They served us our plates but no cutlery to eat. We kept asking but every waiter was busy and would brush us off. Even when we went to the bar, the staff ignored us. Then the drinks, unlimited, well they only take ur order once and never come back plus the size of drink was about 50ml. We were laughing it was so small.the first plate we got was appetizers and it was ok. The bread was stale. The main dish was disgusting. In our group of 6, Some took the fish others took the meat plate both were not eatable. Dessert we got 4 pieces of oranges so thinly cut u can see through them! For the amount paid, we would have had an amazing dinner at a nice restaurant. However the view of the water and the bridge...
Read moreI read some reviews about this kinda trip and some have terrible reviews So i did some research and picked this one with good ratings on google... What a mistake if you choose to go on this trip book the one with alcohol because you will need it to get past how rude the staff on the boat were and it was like a 3hr scam from which there was no escape!
They come out and sell you puddings for 10 euro telling you this is the pudding option but 10 minutes later the free Baklava comes out. The waiter placed a tip wallet down and stood waiting for a tip and i mean stood looking directly at you until you tip and does this to each table. Apparently our tip was to small and we thought he was joking when he said do you have card! No he actually came back and wanted more tip via card payment. So i told him to jog on after he was tutting and EXTREMELY rude even took one of the Baklava puddings back because we didn't tip enough he thought. Haha There are a few entertainers which are ok, But just ok and they all come round each table being intrusive, banging drums and waving hats for tips. They have there own camera crew and want you to do a full photo shoot to guess what... extort more money out of you at the end of the night! They even have a clown which did nothing but take pictures at the end to make the kids want the pictures. A guy wanting tips at the toilet to dry your hands.
There was alot more but i will let you see for yourself.
After the waiter incident i just wanted to get off but obviously couldn't and had an hour from hell. It turned into a booze cruise and was just awful.
If you go on this trip or any like it the tables (even private) are 6 inches away from someone els. One couple sat next to 2 screaming kid all night! We went for soft drinks like 60% of the boat, The all you can drink alcohol was obviously all some wanted and they wanted the most from it and got fleeced for money by the belly dancer etc.
In a nut shell they want more in tips than the trip costs and you are basically trapped.
The only plus note was the independent guy we booked it through! He was a very nice guy and helpful booking etc.
Enjoy you have...
