Hands down to the best desserts. The baklava and their tres leches just melts down any foodie out there. Wonderful chef Burhan Adin was so sweet to get a customized saffron tres leches baklava the best dessert place in Istanbul. especially two of the place's waiters named Hassan and Can were so nice and welcoming. You won't find a better place than this because of the two waiters!😍😍 We were served by Bakir. Amazing service, he was so courteous, respectful, and willing to help. The place is tasty and fresh. It is simply one of the best authentic Turkish sweets places. Mustafa restaurants have the best desserts from all over Istanbul. Their desserts are absolutely incredible, perfect in every way. I have eaten different dishes from several restaurants and they are all identical, so it is impossible to go wrong with this chain of restaurants. The prices are higher because the quality of the food is at its highest. We had a selection of baklava and Turkish coffees. Everything was delicious and not too sweet. The chocolate hazelnut alone is worth coming back for. Goozde, our waitress, was very friendly and prompt. We watched the men across the street serving ice cream. It was a good spot for people watching. Service and cleanliness are impeccable

We visited this lovely little dessert stop along the main stretch in Sultan Ahmet square. It was close to the tram and meant we could just hop and off easily. We arrived very late in the evening just after midnight and the place was still quite busy. The staff were very polite and helpful, really looked after us. So much to choose from and you will be spoilt for choice! We went for a chocolate baklava with ice cream. The portion was huge, easily enough for two people if you’d like to share. My friend ordered the Kunafe which was also very good. You can enjoy cold drinks or hot ones and they open till 2am which is handy if you get the midnight munchies during your visit to Istanbul. The prices reflect very good value for money. When you arrive you walk past a cute little mini gift shop, they have so much packaging and desserts that make for lovely gifts. They are all packed on site from fresh apart from the dried fruits which are already pre packed ready to take away. Overall, this was a really lovely dessert place, the atmosphere is pleasant and calming. The shop was very clean and well maintained which is a bonus. I’d definitely recommend this one to experience, well worth it.

prepare to encounter over crowded situations. this cafe has 2 floors that could possibly taking maximum not over 30 guests at the same time but they do have a couple of brunches over the city of Istanbul including London!(2024Aug). guilty as white sin! the baklavas and desserts they served hanging in there swirlling over heads from the recent visit since then. every turkish delight shop has its own recipe and each recipe has its own level of sweetness. high level of sweetness may take over delicacies of other ingredients. for H.M. 1864 it was absolute significant on our own Istanbul discovery journal. the mild flavour and inexplicable mixture of nuts and spices in their baklavas escalate mindset about baklava to another continental perspective. also went to Hafız Mustafa 1864 Edebiyat Kıraathanesi branch that originally was a train station. order saffron cake, any pichtaschio baklavas, turkish tea. this would make your turkish day quite the city of istanbul.

Sweet shop Make that Reallllllly good sweet shop! Be warned though this is a Turkish sweet shop. So if you go in there like me wanting hot chocolate you will not get it. But like me if you are willing to experiment with Turkish sweets, you will definitely not be disappointed. I have never liked Turkish delights until I had one here. It was superb! I didn't go so far as try the baklava - that I really don't like. But the rest if the sweets were really nice! There are "European" desserts as well... But the waiter shook his head when we tried to order one 😀😀😀 - So don't. You might not get an honest waiter like we did. I had a very nice mint tea to round off all the sweets. They do v good traditional Turkish tea as well if you are into that sort of tea. The place has a huge seating area and it's quite busy. Service is quick. Have fun!
