MOST HONEST REVIEW. A huge thank you to DDC Jumeirah, all my time, effort, and 8K plus were WASTED.
My journey with the school started in Oct 2023, where I signed up for an 'unlimited package' with their promise of 'no time pressure, we'll be with you all throughout the journey' While I admit that my progress was slower compared to other learners, I must also say that I regret choosing this school, among others. With the unli package, here are some things you need to know:
*Termination of contract if unable to attend classes for 15 days or more *Extra charges for night classes *Extra charges for Sunday classes *Fixed instructor
In my case, I was forced to withdraw my file because they terminated my contract for the reason of not being able to attend my class for more than 15 days. Although it was not my negligence, the management didn't hear me out. There were classes cancelled during the poor weather conditions. After that, because of my working schedule, I couldn't go there physically to book classes. Instead, I try calling the call centre, which, by the way, has very pathetic customer service. You have to call multiple times in a day to call back, which sometimes does not even happen. Also, the agents try to put the call on hold on purpose (I know this, based on the IVR, and I worked in CS before). In short, their poor communication led me to the terminated of my contract. Despite all the evidence I presented to the manager, which I doubt he even read, he sent me for evaluation. The evaluator said I'm not ready without giving me feedback about the evaluation, nor a copy of the evaluation results. Post evaluation, they wanted to charge me based on regular price. In summary, Pros: School is near my home Cons: *Terrible customer service at the call centre Rude staff at the male booking section like Tariq Khan (all 3 men, except Abdur rehman). They are out of their seat on several occasions and have to wait for them, God knows how long is their break time, without leaving a note. *Long waiting time for scheduling of classes *Most of the staff lack basic customer service skills and empathy *No prior reminder that contract will be terminated. *lack of support from my instructor
This is my personal experience, with no intentions to generalize. My advice is make a thorough research before investing your hard...
Read moreI went to dubai driving school for an enquiry and after listening to the experts I felt to join as quickly as possible and paid the fee for Royal VIP category. The school assigned Mr.Bismillah Khan as my instructor who had given me training in the VIP room for the computer exam with through training on vedios and questions and accordingly next day felt that I should take an exam and passed immediately. It all goes to the fantastic explanation on the entire road saftey activity and very practical al vedios. Further immediately road training started and while I drive in India for more than 20 plus years it requires the mindset for which Mr.Bismillah Khan hats off to his training to the core values and patience and correcting mistakes and given very hard training and not comprising on any value chain system. The examiners were also cooperative and all the mistakes with two tests have been identifies and corrected and in the the third test I could drive 100 percent perfection in lane changing, speed , speed brakers, pedestrian, speed limits, all varieties of parking actionable and finished with the satisfaction of my guru nd mentor Mr. Bismillah Khan and RTA examiner and could get licence on the nest day after all compliances in place. No words for the excellent satisfaction of all concerned including me and desrves salute to the Guru and mentor MR.Bismillah Khan and as an organisation as a whole. Fantastic journey and complete satisfaction and all the values will be in place for my whole life. I thank each and every employee of Dubai driving school for the awesome journey. Thank you one and all for the...
Read moreFinally got my driving license after 10 long months and all I can say is I had a really bad experience at DDC.
Apart from a rare few, most driving instructors here are arrogant and rude. When a student does a mistake it is duty of instructor to correct him in a manner best suited for him to understand so he does not repeat it but all you receive here is taunting and harsh demotivating words from instructors that will make the student more nervous and not learn anything.
For a class of 1hr, almost all instructors will start 10mins late (even when they’re present at the yard) and finish it 5 mins before the actual timing.
If you fail in initial driving assessment or RTA test, they will either make fun of you or demotivate you further saying that you’re going to take more than a year to get through it.
I had to go to my home country for a month for annual vacation and when I met the Manager to put a hold on my driving training term I was treated with arrogance and contempt as if I owe him his hard earned money for no reason. Even my boss had no problem in me taking leave from work and this stupid excuse of a person had the gall to taunt me with disrespect saying I can’t take such long gap from training when there is no prior instruction at the time of admission that it’s not allowed.
If the management team is this indecent and don’t know how to treat their customers with respect, one can only imagine how the subordinates would be.
Would never recommend DDC to anybody.
Better go for Excellence Driving School or Emirates Driving...
