This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Absolutely loved our time here. Anasa, is located by the poolside inside Conrad SZR, and opens for dinners only atm. Réservations are advised. It’s a cute Greek Tavern. Now before I forget there’s live entertainment 8pm onwards, restaurant opens at 7 pm till late. Thé menu is elaborate, you’ll see all classic Greek dishes on the menu, the chef is Greek himself and it all shows in the dishes. Also they offer a “catch of the day” where you choose your seafood from the daily selection & they grill it for you. For starters we had the octopus, a salad and the taramas, and some fresh pita offcourse, came with these very flavorful olives. Now for those who aren’t familiar Taramas, it’s a lovely white cod roe cream topped with caviar, I’m clarifying this cause I know it looks like hummus but it’s not it’s very light and fluffy and salty in taste, you have to try it to understand. Delicious with the hot pita ! What I enjoyed about this place was that everything was fresh and flavorful. We ordered a Red Snapper, which was chargrilled and served de boned, was quite a treat and was decently priced as well. We didn’t have space left for desserts but since we were really enjoying our time and loved the songs the singer was singing we decided to have some loukmades and tea. The perfect end to a lovely evening! Cannot...
Read moreService: Very disorganized with disappointing service. For literally everything we asked we needed to get up and go and find someone at the bar. It took 01:20’ to bring the coffees. We seated at the table at 13:00 and got our main course at 15:30 after complaining multiple times.
Food: The cold starters were ok, the hot starters were average but the main meat platter was very poor quality and literally no one from the 10 people ate.
Atmosphere: Big celebration of Easter and expected the place to be full. We had to ask for umbrellas so we can have shade and after 2 and half hours managed to get an air condition unit.
Only nice thing was the live music.
For the price charged and prepayment booking of 50% (unheard of) this place is totally not worth it.
Very bad...
