I would not recommend going here. I asked for balayage and I got basically a full head of highlights with odd placement that looked so bad at my roots. I had to go to another hairdressers to fix it and they were shocked at the placement on my head. Furthermore the colour was not blended in at all and was way too light for me. I asked to be slightly lighter than what I came in with (brown) and they turned me blonde! Furthermore, as they were past closing time, they couldn’t properly blow dry my hair (they did take money off for this though but still). Also, I wanted just a trim of my hair of the dead ends but my hair is a lot shorter than before. The cut was not my main issue though as that was still decent (though not exactly what I wanted). The colour was just so bad I had to pay another £100 to get it fixed elsewhere. It was not balayage by any means. I kinda wish I asked for a refund but oh well. I could not fault the haircut at Luke Antony’s at all, they understood how I wanted my fringe trimmed. However, my grievances lie with the poor customer service I experienced at my appointment. Although I do appreciate squeezing me in at a busy time, the hairdresser who cut my hair was dismissive and rushed through the appointment. She did not consult me properly on my wishes until she had already started cutting my hair. Once my hair had been cut, she moved on without confirming the payment and leaving hair all over my face and clothes. I had to ask multiple times to pay, and noted that other hairdressers were assisting their clients in removing hair from their faces, but I did not receive this treatment. I can understand that at a busy time, many clients needs must be met, however I left feeling embarrassed for having to ask multiple times just to pay and leave in a tidy state. I have booked for a gel manicure. I have specifically requested an experienced beautician. They have ensured me their trainee is experienced. On arrival their colour selection was very poor even though I was aiming for a nude/milky gel colour, they didn't have it. We settled for a classic French. I noticed I'm in inexperienced hands when the lady started filing. She was barely brushing the nails with the file. When it came to tips, she struggled to shape a curve, making it very thick on the sides. When I asked for correction the lady got upset and looked like about to cry. The total time was well above 1h even though they state on the website it should take 45min. In the end her colleague had to finish off with the topcoat and filing.
