It's a diverse group of Christians hungry to truly encounter Jesus. Very welcoming congregation. As a Nigerian visiting the church for the first time, I didn't feel any different as everyone was on their toes to make me feel at home. Great message! Lovely people!!

Plus, there's a tea and coffee time after church service for people to interact and get to know each other more.

Elim Selly Oak is welcoming, vibrant and full of passion for the mission of the gospel in the city.

I say it's welcoming because of the multiple ways in which I could connect with the church. Its vibrancy is fuelled by its diversity - it has both young and old, students and worker bees, people from all over the globe and people living in Birmingham for generations. Its heart for mission is evident in its emphasis on discipleship - seeking to carry out the Great Commission.
