Initially called as a bra had stuck in the seal of our washer drier and ripped the seal. The person on the desk asked for the washer model and make and took a £48 deposit to buy a seal. A few days later a very nice chap come to fit it. After struggling for an hour he realised it was the wrong seal (it did look identical). Anyway whilst trying to put my heavy machine back in it’s place the switchboard caught on the door and two tiny bits of plastic pinged off. I stepped across the kitchen to grab the board before it was damaged anymore. He went away and ordered the correct part and fitted it a few days later successfully in less than 20 minutes. Luckily the loss of the bits of plastic haven’t seemed to matter (one was a clip that was holding wires up). My complaint would be that they charged me for the hour that the man couldn’t fix the incorrect seal and the hour to fix it the second time with the correct seal. When my husband called to ask why we had to pay for an extra hour the lady behind the counter basically said she didn’t understand what my husband was talking about so he just paid and left it. The guy who fixed our washer was a lovely man it wasn’t his fault the wrong part was ordered initially. Shame they charged us for their mistake otherwise my review would...
Read moreWhen I called to pay them to come and fix my washing machine they were extremely efficient in sending someone out and taking my money. The 'engineer' fixed the hose back in place and left telling me to dry it out and put a load on. I did that and the rubber seal was shredded or melted into the drum. They were slow and didn't answer calls to get the engineer back out, but after I had followed up 3 times they got him back out and he said that it was scrap. Quite how there was no sign of this before but it mysteriously became a problem after their worker had done his thing I don't know, but that isn't the most fundamental problem: He also said that it was a fire risk and that there was no way of knowing that without testing (which he didn't do or discuss with me about the need for previously). Then someone back in the office called to say that he didn't say what he had said to me and that it was all safe, despite him having not actually seen the machine in question or even offered an inspection of the work.
Go somewhere that takes pride in actually rendering what they are working on safe before declaring it sorted.

Read moreHad horrendous service from these guys when dealing with a tumble drier repair - they were adamant a part they sold could not be faulty, made me buy additional bits, and still didn't get it working, just said it must be a wiring loom fault not worth doing - in the end I proved them wrong, and found the very first new bit they sold me was faulty. They initially agreed to refund, but I heard nothing, then the manager just fobbed off my calls.
Manager would happily get his staff to tell me he was busy rather than deal, would say he was going to check what the parts cost him and call me back but nothing.... Took about 6 months to get a 50% refund after threatening litigation.
Far better service elsewhere in...
