After having ordered through Just Eat for this establishment, myself and my partner have had nothing but problems with what was delivered. Today, however, was the final straw. After having a donor box that did not include chips as advertised, we called the restaurant and informed them of this mistake. I ended up speaking with two people, including one person who claimed to be the manager. After speaking with the “manager”, he informed us that the only way to rectify the issue was to spend more money on other things. After stating that that wasn’t acceptable, the “manager” didn’t particularly offer any resolution. We proceeded to hang up, and a return phone call was received from this “manager” proceeding to tell us that we were wrong. I have just walked 15minutes across town too try this place after checking opening times etc online and they are supposed to be open 11am to 11pm. When I arrive 12:40 the door is wide open and the "open" illuminated sign is on with someone behind the counter. I walked in and the man behind the desk doesn't even look up and says "No". I replied I'm sorry are you not open? He just sneered at me No not open. Whilst I appreciate this may seem minor I have just wasted my entire lunch break to walk here hoping to buy some food and the staff member doesn't even have the decency to say string a full sentence together never mind to say " I'm sorry we have a staff sickness" or whatever his reason was for not operating during his advertised hours. Went in for a single fish. It was obvious the fish had been sitting for some time and the staff were uninterested. Asked for vinegar only as i have to abide by a slow salt diet. The server who had basically a low understanding of the instructions of her customers began by covering it in salt. I advised it was vinegar only and she added more salt! I left only to return as the fish was cold and the batter chewy, beyond beleive! I went to place the offending materials on the counter and the fish slipped from my hand the server and her officiously obnoxious boss then followed me, threatening police action.
