Their food has too many sour elements which is unnatural for Japanese food

Octopus was good, tender and pleasant mild flavours

Wagyu tare rice execution was quite good, abit pricey for what it was and could do with a little bit more tare

tsukune texture was fine but the egg yolk sauce squeezed on top was really weird with its sourness, very jarring for Japanese food

Mini okonomiyaki was bad, the whole thing was too solid and dense

Salmon temaki overall combination was ok, except again there's this very strong sourness that ruins everything

Matcha tiramisu also had sourness. That's very weird and again jarring

Sake was good according to my partner, she has the kenbishi sword and diamond which was umami and it was a very good recommendation by the staff after asking for her preferences

Overall the execution is quite good and prices were very reasonable for the quality of food, however the frequent appearance of sourness in Japanese food is not good.

Still would recommend tho, for sure. Come soon while they're new, before seats get hard to book

Loved the experience, recently visited Japan with our 8 month old so we're really excited to try. We found the food and offering was a little smaller than we expected and probably not enough to draw us back. Just because we are a one (venue) and done kind of couple but a younger crowd who are coming for drinks and snacks throughout an evening will love.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks they have on offer. I mentioned that I wanted to try some sakes and after a quick chat about what I liked Fabio gave me a couple of recommendation and I loved them all.
