Cafe on Water Lane — Restaurant in England

Been here several times before but seems to have gone down in service and food quality. Full English, reported as nice but not as good as previous visits as fried egg wasn't cooked properly so this had to be discarded. I always, ask for a strong pot of tea and usually get an extra bag on the side, this doesn't happen anymore. My bacon and brie panini was not freshly done as usual. The bacon had already been prepared so all that was done was to warm the panini up but the brie did not melt as it should and the bacon was old and tough.. What was noted is that the Heinz tomato sauce is not Heinz so this is a transparency concern. You cannot cut corners in this line of business as there is too much competition. Disappointing visit. Those moaning about not allowing dogs anymore, quite right, it's good hygiene that's more important, you can sit outside...

Came in for a late lunch. I ordered a Regular English breakfast and my partner order a Tuna Baguette. Price very reasonable. The gentlemen come to serve us very politely. Drinks came out straight away and food came pretty quick.

Would like to see the 2 young girls to open up a bit more. For example. When bringing the drinks out, they should say, here's the sparkling water, and the passionfruit juice. Also when bringing out the cutlery, they should be open to say "just giving you some...

Best cafe in every way. Last weekend I went to another cafe because I did not know about this one. The other cafe was a rip off and awful waste of ingredients and bad cafe. Steel seats … that’s enough…. This week I am grateful I found cafe on water lane. I now can happily travel from Manchester some 23 miles to enjoy Cafe on water lane.
