Absolute disgusting service if I could give a 0 star review I would. Birthday absolutely ruined by constantly being hassled by one member of staff. Booked table for 6pm took balloons in approx about half 4 when we turned up they hadn't put the balloons out despite it not being busy. As soon as kids turned up for my booking this one member of staff came charging over telling us that they had to be out by 8 which we were already aware of but she hasn't even given them time to settled in before coming straight over. We then had some special glasses made for our Bridesmaids and we has made them aware they we being given out at no point did they tell us this wasn't aware, however when we gave out our special glasses having a very special memorable moment over this one member of staff came over again and told us due to "licencing" issue this wasn't allowed and they had to come off the table, needless to say this absolutely ruined our special moment. Our night was the night the football was on, now our party did not watch it until we found out they had gone to penalties (said member of our party has a tv licence) however member of staff had already told us that the kitchen was watching it. We were watching it quite quietly not being loud unlike another party that were also watching it at the same time. However again this same member of staff came over to tell us that we weren't allowed to watch it despite her speaking with another member of staff about it and the other member of staff saying that it shouldn't have been a problem (they were arguing about it within earshot) so we went outside to watch it where even the security guard couldn't see the problem. This one member of staff had it in for my party since the start unsure why. A member of the party did go and speak to this said member of staff who was apparently a "team leader" and expressed that we were unhappy but all she did was shrug it off no apology nothing. I have put in a complaint but I'm guessing it was just redirected to the poole branch because all I had was denial that they had done anything wrong. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR...

Went for a birthday meal with boyfriend and parents last night for my 18th with Cara Bayley. It took an hour to receive our meals which were ordered on the app so unaware of the wait times on food. When they arrived the veggie burger was rock solid and you couldn’t bite into it and the fish didn’t even make it to the table before it was taken away as the waitress took it straight back due to the quality. We then had the two meals replaced with two new fish and chips. The batter was thin and didn’t coat the fish (it was half battered and half un-battered). One fish was lukewarm at best with cold chips across all four meals and the other was partially cooked and completely raw in the centre not meeting food safety standards. The fish should be cooked to 75 degrees minimum and clearly was not at this temperature. As having two trained chefs in the party we understand food safety standards and the risks and hazards of undercooked meats and fish. Just wanting to leave a review to make sure people are aware of food safety standards and don’t have the experience we have had. After these second meals were brought to us we then instantly asked for a refund and the manager came to the table refunding the two meals as the other two meals were okay. Myself and my sister had booked a table for 23/2/24 @5.45 as we were seeing a show at the Lighthouse. We arrived and the first thing I found strange was that we had to collect our own cocktails from the bar area. We were quite hungry so ordered 3 small plates as starters. I wanted the fish, but was told there was no fish as one of the fryers was not working, so I went for the Katsu chicken curry and my sister had the Red Thai Curry. We waited for quite a while and then everything turned up at once. I mentioned to the waitress we asked for the plates as starters and she just said, sorry it’s all cooked now. We had to eat the mains first for the curry’s not to get cold, even though when they arrived they were tepid anyway. There was a very sparse amount of sauce with the curry’s, but we were hungry and just ate it. When we started the 3 small plates the nachos were now cold, so just left most of it. We should have complained at the time, but I thought it would be to no avail as when I told the waitress about it all turning g up together she wasn’t really interested. We have dined at this restaurant in Poole before and last time the experience was a lot better. Don’t think we will be returning again.
