Mint Curry — Local services in Great Britain

We've made Mint Curry our go to and had always found their food lovely and service ok until last Monday night. I placed an order online at 6.30 as a treat for my husbands birthday which showed an hour delivery time but it took nearly 2 and a half hours to arrive despite 2 phone calls to ascertain when the food would be delivered. By time it arrived we had all gone past food and it had took the enjoyment out of the evening. If they'd had the decency to call to say the food was going to be delayed we'd have cancelled our order and picked up instant food from the local chip shop and ordered again on the weekend instead. We will definitely think twice now before ordering from them again as there is plenty of competition...

This is my new favourite establishment for Indian takeaways. The first time I went there to pick up a takeaway I found they do not take card payments, only cash payments if you turn up to collect. As a takeway business they usually take orders over the phone, along with card payments, and food would be delivered by a driver or collected in person. So I completely understood why my turning up in person to give my order and wait was not quite the way they did business. My wait time of 20 minutes was another good sign, they were a busy takeaway because everybody wanted their food! 👌 I enjoyed my meal and have been back there four times already. This place is the best in canton without a doubt. You go in, order your food from the convenient self order terminal, if you want, otherwise the very friendly Yasin will take your order for you. When you get your food Yasin is so enthusiastic that you'll enjoy you it, which is lovely. It's not the normal takeaway. The food is lovely and there is plenty of choice, if they don't have it on the menu they'll cook it for you!
