I was very happy that I try their tikka munch box. I absolutely love chicken tikka and Nan bread so I instantly ordered that 👌.

I opened the munchie box and instantly thought 💭 wow 🤩 It looked absolutely amazing. The tikka had been stir fried in the pan with onions 🧅, peppers 🫑, coriander 🌿 and other spices. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the amount of flavour was unreal 👊. The chips 🍟 were delicious and the Nan bread was done to my liking. It wasn’t burnt and soaked up all the juices towards the end. I obviously made a little wrap at end 😂.

I washed it down with a freezing cold 🥶 can of coke 👌.

I really was surprised about how good the munchie box was and I instantly thought I want to come back and try more on the menu.

Never again will I order from this place , they said they was waiting for a driver the first time we called , we then called another 2 times after a long time of waiting and both times he said 10-15 minutes and rushed us off the phone , it took 2 + hours to come and when it did come it was disgusting it’s like they cooked the food straight away , waited 2 hours for a driver and still gave us the food they had sitting there for 2 hours , chicken was tough and had a weird taste to it so I left the chicken because I didn’t want a dodgy stomach the next day , chips was so soggy we couldn’t eat them the bag that the chips came in was drenched in water(condensation) , the poppadoms was gone off all soggy , only good thing was the rice honestly don’t order from this place unless you want soggy...

Often order a takeaway from Standard Balti on a Friday night. However, last night my meal (Chicken Biryani with chips) was very under rated and of poor quality. The rice and chicken was very dry. The chicken was very hard like it had been reheated in a microwave and over done. The. chips also gave me the impression they’d been reheated in a microwave as well. The sauce came in a aluminium container and was only half full. Making the meal even drier. If I was to asked to rate it out of 10, I’d have to give it a low 3.
